Ok so I'm going to tell you why I love the Wii U, but from your perspective (reader) you'll be like U just told me why U love the Wii U. So the title should work.
To start it off, Wii are the minority. Time will tell U that the majority is wrong. Since I enjoy being right, owning a Wii U really caters to my ego.
Furthermore I've never been a republican, nor a democrat. What kind of label is that anyways. I'm quite sure George Bush helps push Xbox's and Obama is all about the playstation, and there's your reference to black and white as well. To put it plainly, I like color in my games. The Wii U has the most colorful games. They are bright and cheerful, which generally leads to a brighter outlook on life IMO. Oh and now those colors are in vibrant HD. Need I say more.
The Gamepad. This is my favorite controller, and last gen I was more prone to an x360 controller because of the location of the joysticks (do we still call them joysticks?) This controller is so Unique so nU. Leave it to Nintendo to bring the touchscreen of an iPad to a game console. Say what you will but that's innovation.
Miiverse. Say goodbye to everything wanting to connect to your facebook account and say hello to like minded gamers on Miiverse. Oh and you can draw on there because of the awesome Gamepad. Furthermore check out Zelda Wind Waker HD, you can take pictures in game and instantly post them to Miiverse and share your adventure with everyone who is playing Zelda. That's so right!
Online . . . yeah so I yearn for more online multiplayer games personally. I'd love to see at least one MMORPG. That aside though, no monthly or annual subscription fees to get online. Oh and Monster Hunter is quite fun online. Not massive but fun no less. That's less filling out forms as well, YEAH Baby! You can defend subscription fees all you want but I just paid $100s of dollars to get this console up and running I'm really not looking to pay more. That's like convincing me to have a monthly unsavings account which is just as mad as having a very happy unbirthday.
3rd party support. We're getting Watchdogs! Prepare to be hacked. Nuff Said.
The Wii U, not a Hi Tech VCR. Love the size of the console. Yeah look at how massive the Playstation and Xbox are compared to the Wii U. I'm a gamer but it's not my life. Hence why would I want a "Gaming Console" being the focal point of my "Living" room. Furthermore I don't see how Playstation and Xbox advertise as Gaming Consoles anymore in the first place. Their both so busy trying to make their alien technology do everything, even when everything they do is Sub Par. My Wii U plays games, and it plays them very, very well.
My Wii U is for Hardcore Gaming. I'm an old school FPS guy. I can still pull a 1.67 kdr without hacks, camping, or glitching. That puts me in the top 80% and that's counting hackers as actual players (Basing statistic off of Combat Arms). Anyways it's for Us. It's the only console innovating. It's the only one not going with the crowd. It's the only one that can stand on it's own. Bring on the negative feedback, it's the same thing you say whether I no scope you, quick scope you, or tear you apart with my SMG.
Anyways this is why I'm in love with my Wii U. She's just awesome from her pixels down to her hardware. Maybe we'll go get a byte to eat later. So what's got U head over heels about your Wii U?
Gamepad is the coolest controller ever. BUT..... I can't imagine a system where I can't play Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, Mario Bros. etc. Just hope they come out with Star Fox.
Many people here see me criticizing Wii U, HOWEVER ..... I love Wii U because
1. ALL NINTENDO GAMES have Great replay value. For example if you buy Super Mario 3D Land you can play it for years
because it's fun and every time you can take different approach, collect stars you missed etc...
2. Design & Quality. Nintendo really makes most beautifully designed consoles and best quality hardware hands down.
3. Backward compatibility = Huge Wii library can really fill some gaps until major Wii U titles arrive
1. Graphics is much better.
2. Compatible with Wii games.
3. With latest update, Wii games can also be played with GamePad.
4. Parental control is much much better than in Wii, now I really can control when my kids can play games.
5. GamePad is great, everyone can watch TV while playing.
6. GamePad has headphones plug, no annoying cables laying around living room.
7. Wii U Fit + Fit meter is excellent game and tool for sports.
8. Low power consumption. I usually atleast try to think Green.
9. Small form factor.
10. No fan noise.
1. The games look gorgeous
2. Backwards compatible
3. Free online
4. Miiverse (seriously, everyone I've run into on Miiverse is so nice, polite and helpful... whereas on PSN they're a bunch of idiots)
5. Gamepad is actually really cool (especially for Zelda where you can just do everything on the fly without pausing)
6. Nintendo games have a lot of replay value
7. Off TV play
8. The system is quiet
9. It's well made
10. You don't have to use to the gamepad for every game, and most games give you the option to use the pro controller (which I do use for Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect etc.)
because I want badly to get a WiiU to play W101, WWHD, Pikmin3(never played 2 and only played 1 a little on someone else's videogame ), SM3DW, SSBWiiU(less than the others because I'm looking forward to the 3DS version), Zelda WiiU, X, DKCTF, Bayoneta 2, MH3U(online) and ZombiU(just a little)
is that reason enough? I sure hope so

The Wii U is such a underrated and underappreciated console that its insane. This console is truly only liked by Nintendo fans... and its sad. It should be loved by EVERYONE.

Either you're a fan of the system and love it because you're a fan. Or you're a fan of other systems, in which case you should love it because its not prolonging the development of any multiplatform games. : )

QFT, i built my first PC at uni when Warcraft 3 was released due to how much i loved Warcraft 2. I bought my Wii U for Pikmin 3 due to how much i loved Pikmin on my gamecube. Its all about the games, i go where they go simple as that.
