because the WiiU just released at the wrong time and to little fanfare and now developers are looking towards the PS4 and XB1 because they are new and yeah while the WiiU wont get some of the big next gen games i think once Nintendo actually start supporting their console we should get more third party games

"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

I know the guy was trolling but in reality Angry Birds is one of the best third party games for the Wii U, is much better than Wii Sports or any other game Nintendo has released under the Wii whatever label..... the problem is you can get it for free on phones, you can even get a phone able to play it and download it for free for less than what it costs on the Wii U

@Swordx You don't understand what shovelware is, COD is most certainly not shovelware.

Angry Birds is still the best game on the Wii U, its only game worth getting the Wii U for.

I have to disagree with you on that one.

It's good to know that everyone you disagree with is a troll.

You don't think LJM was trolling a bit there? I've over-estimated you.

Yea COD is definitely not Shovelware.

I agree with the fact that it was the wrong time to drop in the Wii U console. It has given it a bad name cause of the poor timing, since games where not yet ready to be announced for it. This has happened before to past game consoles and it really is nothing new. This fall and winter we will see a good rise in sales. I however disagree with the angry birds game. That stuff is crap and should be an online download if anything. Games I can play on almost all the portable devices I own do not need to be released as actual hard copy console games... ESPECIALLY NOT FOR $50.00

It most certainly is! COD has become a repetetive, boring mess. I used to love COD...back when the games were good. And you can't use multiplayer or zombies to back up your claim that it's good...those are just extras...The campaign is supposed to be the main game, but now it's been pushed to the side and has become a last minute effort.

That kinda sounds like alot of games, though. Halo and Gears of War come to mind when multiplayer over campaign is brought up.

I think it's very necessary that games have good single player and multiplayer modes, but alot of the effort seems to be put into the multiplayer more so these days.

I wouldn't say it's shovelware, but it's definitely true that developers think they can just just dump the same stuff on people over and over again without a problem. That kinda practice catches up after a while...

Maybe to you, but many people don't believe this and buy the game, because they enjoy the Story line in the campaign AND the multiplayer. I know that i don't always enjoy everything Cod does, but i for one enjoyed the storyline and the characters of the campaign. I also played my fare share of online and many people have done the same as me. So it is really only shovelware in your eyes.

FPS games have been overdone ill give you that. This is a reason i bought Wii U before any other console this generation, so really the main reason a lot of people are sick of COD is because they have constantly played online FPS games and are now warn out. That doesn't mean COD is a bad game.

I don't know about new Halo games (I only played the first) but I've found that Gears of War had a very good campaign.

Also, when it comes to COD multiplayer, I've found that COD 2 (my favorite COD) has the same multiplayer as new games, even though the campaign was great. I go back and replay old COD games, because they were awesome, but 3 was the last good COD. Now it' copy/paste games that aren't fun.

I was fine with Gears of War 1 & 2's campaign, but 3 kinda had a crappy campaign, IMO. I thought 3 had the best multiplayer, but had the worst campaign.
As for Halo, I didn't really like any of those campaigns. I actually thought Reach had the best online, too. Halo 3 had better maps, but the gameplay was better in Reach.

I think there's always just some sort of trade off game to game, but all the good things eventually come together eventually most of the time.

I wont say that the games don't have similarity, but I wont say that they are shovelware. I'll be buying this game because it is still a top contender in gaming and could bring great things to Wii U.

I don't have Gears 3, so that might explain why I still love the games...

The most recent COD definitely had effort put into it, mam. An antagonist that seemed human, well-paced, and multiple endings.

And even then, just because you don't like multiplayer, doesn't mean it's automatically shovelware. Are games that are only multiplayer shovelware, like Counter Strike and Tribes? That term is reserved for games that barely function, like Ninjabread Man. Even if you think the campaign in COD is mediocre, it's not shovelware.

I understand you continue to recycle the same old line, even when people are using the term "troll" appropriately. The person being labeled would agree with the assessment as well.

But I'm sure there was some grand point we all missed because we "just don't get it." You know, because we aren't privy to the inner-workings of your mind and instead have to base our conclusions on what you've actually written.

Multiplayer only games still have the campaign as the main game...

Seriously, did they even make new AI? Also, they should be making new engines if they're making new COD games every year. When was the last time a new COD engine was made? I could be wrong, but I think it was MW...Yeah, THAT sounds like effort...
