STUPID BLEEP REFEREE!!! Durant should've gone to the line while they were down two! Stern wanting his refs to make sure they draw the series out, or give LeBum his first championship. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! In the words of Will Smith, We're "goin' to Miami", and we're going for BLOOD!!!

Not really a fan of either, but I want the not-LeBron team to win.

Grr... some person calling into a radio show and they're like "I wanted it to be Lakers vs. Heat." Most bandwagon basketball fan ever. The only thing exciting about a Kobe vs. LeBron matchup would be seeing who gets more favoritism from the refs.

Only caught the highlights of the second game and I'm very glad I didn't watch it because the foul not given on Durant at 98-96 would have made me break stuff. I'm with Thunder.

I was watching it, and was ready to put my fist through the TV at the time! It'll be interesting to see throughout the rest of the series how much the refs favor Miami late in the game/with the score close.

I'm sure Stern wants a clothing item blitz on LeBrick James championship memorabilia, along with not exactly wanting the NBA Title residing in a so-called :"flyover state." You don't see any NBA Titles banners in places like Utah or Memphis, do you (no offense at all to those or anywhere else)? However, I'd think it would give him and the NBA a pretty black eye (this after a contentious lockout & shortened season) if it appears he's more like Vince McMahon conducting the Montreal Screwjob against Bret Hart (or KD & the Thunder in this case).

Actually, no. I think this is what I had disappointments like Oklahoma State blowing a National Title game shot, OU women's softball blowing a 1 game to none lead on Alabama, and the Thunder losing the West finals last year, along with months of waiting for Kid Icarus: Of Myths & Monsters on VC to prepare me for! last year to prepare me for. What blows my mind is that we have the better overall team. But, you can't fight David Ste... uh, I mean City Hall! This is what happens when Thunder players can't breathe on a white jersey with red letters, especially when the name on the back is "James." I'm starting to accept this might very well go sideways (OK, probably will). If it does, I figure we'll be preseason favorites to win the title next year, regardless of a Heat title.

Oh yeah. This is an Oklahoma team we're talking about. My Sooners have been national champion favorites in college football most every year since they won it by surprise in 2000, and we usually have a couple of losses to lesser teams by mid-season. So, next year the Thunder will probably be hit with injuries, or get overconfident and lose to the Clippers in round one, or some BLEEP. Or lose to the Heat again, since it would be expected to be KD's year.

Wondering who would be most happy with the Heat pulling this off, as the refs will likely make sure they do? JeBum, David Stern, or the city of Seattle? Know it won't be Miami. Do most Miami citizens know they still have an NBA team?

Actually, you know what, tossing a Thunder loss in with my computer biting the dust, I might blow up. And in the words of Ethan Hunt, "you've never seen me very upset."

Probably us here in Seattle. We cannot stand that lying ownership group led by Clay Bennett.

We still like Durant and Collison and have nothing against the rest of Oklahoma City.

Give up a 17 point lead? 17 POINTS??? Way to represent Oklahoma, Thunder. Another state of Oklahoma collapse to go along with the Sooners, among others. #$%&!!! I'm not one to give up on my teams, but I'm afraid it ends Thursday. Now, if they win, they have two games at home, where they only lost that one time in that screwjob at game's end the other day. Otherwise, better luck next year. A year where we could lose Harden, and the likes of the Spurs, Lakers, Clippers, Mavs, etc. get better so that we don't even get out of the Western Conference. We're supposed to rule the Western Conference for a while, but crap happens, like Derrick Rose going down first game of the playoffs. Next year may be his year, then Durant will have to deal with the heat (no pun) LeButt has had to put up with over having not won a title, as he'd then be the only Mega Star without a ring. I'll have to think of some Durant nicknames, as I like to diss my teams when they blow chances like my Thunder are, and my Sooners regularly do!

@Ryno
You guys are about to get a measure of payback, via Miami and David Stern's refs! And you may deserve it. I'll be honest. I never expected to see an Oklahoma pro sports team in my lifetime. Oklahoma's not a big market and we're not a national presence in many ways. Expected Sooner football to be the most we'd ever be recognized for sports wise. So, I know it must've taken some extreme measures for the Sonics to become the Thunder (or Dunder as I'm calling them until they start playing like a NBA finalist). Saw that you guys put up more of a fight in the 1996 NBA Championship against the legendary Bulls with Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman among others; than we are this year against a team we arguably have better talent than overall factoring in our bench. Not sure who'll look worse if things pan out as they are. Cleveland owner Dan Gilbert for that outlandish claim that the Cavs would win a title before LeBron, or OKC with this pathetic showing thus far (esp. if they lose in 5).

Do or die time tonight for Thunder. Win and bring it back to Oklahoma City for two very winnable games, or have Oklahoma forever be known as the state LeBron James crushed to win his first NBA title. It's one of those things like being the pitcher who gave up a historic home run ball. I REALLY don't want that to be one of my home state's big claims to fame (or infamy). To lose in 5 and have given the Heat the least amount of trouble since their first round opponent Knicks, when we were pretty widely favored in 5 or 6 by many, would be real salt on the wound.

@G4L
It ticked me off that he feels so high and mighty as to have that unprecedented "The Decision." I, and I imagine countless others, have looked down on him since. An ESPN SportsNation poll had 49 states favor the Thunder in the finals, and you know that has to do with what a narcissistic jerk he is. I can't imagine how it is for you as a citizen of Cleveland. Doubt you ever dreamed he'd turn his back on his fellow Ohioans like that, and be so brutal in doing so.

@FluttershyGuy: All I got say is hopefully Clay Bennett and Aubrey McClendon get the pleasure of watching Lebron hold The Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy tonight!

Oh and that organization should also stop using Seattle SuperSonics stats.

While I'd prefer to see Kevin Durant hold the Larry O' Brien trophy next Tuesday in OKC, I can certainly understand you and other Seattleites wanting Miami to win. This is Oklahoma's first pro-sports team (we had the Detroit Shock move here to Tulsa afterward), and I can't punish them for the circumstances behind the move. However, as a dual Colorado/Oklahoma sports fan (born in OK, grew up in CO), if the Denver Broncos were relocated in a similar fashion, I'd root against them forever! Do you think there comes a point where Seattle and the state of Washington don't root against the Thunder? Is them losing these finals retribution? Is it when the NBA is back in Seattle? Or is it never?

Oh, what is the progress on getting a team back there? I know there was a rally the other day (before game one, I think). Are they working on an expansion teams that would be the SuperSonics, or getting a relocated team? I was following the Sonics relocation, and I seem to remember that the franchise would get the Sonics name & portion of their history from Seattle back if they got an expansion team. Like with the Cleveland Browns.

@Swiket
No, there has never been a 3-1 comeback. But, there's the whole "first time for everything" deal, and I think they could win two at home. I think tonight is the big challenge. They have to be demoralized, but hopefully the knowledge that they can bring the series back home for two will motivate them! Plus, gotta hope Stern wants two more Finals games for ratings and big $$$$$$$$!

@FluttershyGuy: A former Seattleite Chris Hansen who is a San Francisco hedge fund manager along with 2 Nordstrom brothers and Steve Ballmer (CEO of Microsoft) are working with the city and county to build a new NBA/NHL arena. They are pledging $300 million to build it and requesting an additional $200 million in bonds to be paid back from ticket sales to events in the arena over the next 20-30 of it being built. It's a really good deal, one million times better than what Bennett held this area hostage with. Those guys are also in charge of acquiring/purchasing a team but the building will not start until the team is actually acquired and in the meantime would play in the Key Arena until it is completed. For the most part I think everyone is expecting the okay to go through then it is up to the group to locate a team. Sacramento seems the most likely which possibility which would suck because replacing a team with someone else's doesn't feel good. Expansion would be preferred but I don't think the NBA wants to do that. When Seattle gets a new team the shared history with the Thunder is going to be interesting, I don't know exactly how that is going to work.

For the state of Washington to stop rooting against the Thunder I think it will take getting the Sonics back and for the Thunder to get a new ownership group. I don't think I can tell you how much that group is despised here. I want to be at the first game when the the Thunder come back to town. The crowd will cheer Durant and Collison (if he is still there) but as for the rest of that team, well I am not so sure. I do know that Clay and Aubrey will not want to make that trip though.

The never came back from 3-1 is misleading since most of these teams also lost Game 1. Everybody was saying how most teams that win game 1 go on to win the finals series. I hope for a comeback tonight. If not, I hope for a Kobe sixth ring next year.

That may have sealed the whole thing. OKC could have won the series 4-0 or 4-1 otherwise.
