Just a quick question. I wanted to buy a white Wii U Pro Controller, but I have a black Wii U.. Will the white controller work on the black Wii U?? (Since the black Wii U hardware has different specs than the white one, I wasn't sure if the pro controllers would work on the opposite color or not)

Yes, it will work.

There are no colour-coded schemes or anything, thankfully!

The only specification difference between the black and white Wii U is that the black Wii U has 24GB extra hard drive space; that's all.

i think some regions didn't get the white controller.... i could be wrong there.... regardless, can you buy a pro controller from any region and it will work for you?

AFAIK none of the Wii U's accessories are region locked. None of the Wii's accessories were region locked either. The only thing I believe is region locked is the NFC reader for the original 3DS. No idea why they did that but still.

No white Pro Controller in Europe (ditto for CC Pro - odd that), so I got one from Japan - no issues.

The white pro controllers are much smaller than the black ones, so buy accordingly

@HollywoodHogan: I assume that's an attempt at humour. No they are not: I have a black one sourced in the UK and a white one from Japan and they are the same aside from the colour.
