Custom Robo HD would be awesome.

This would probably be one of the only games that would be improved by entirely cutting out story mode.

Before the consoles were even announced I wanted a HD remake of Wind Waker and polished versions of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the then "next portable". Then once the 3DS was announced I thought it would be cool to maybe revisit A Link To the Past as a 3D classic. We've had basically three of the four now, I don't know what else I would really want.

Though thinking about it I wouldn't mind seeing the Metroid Prime Trilogy again in HD. Mostly because I didn't personally get it on Wii because it was always at full RRP when I was interested. If it was running at 1080p I could see myself getting that. Super Mario Sunshine I would also be interested in purely because it's the only Mario game I haven't played. The Galaxy games could be remade but personally I'd probably not buy into that because it's not that old. Twilight Princess? I probably would.

I transferred my Xenoblade save file (pretty sure I still have it on my SD card - better double-check) and foolishly sold the game as part of clearing the decks for Wii U. I'm strongly considering a re-purchase, but I have some silly hope that an HD download-only version might come out to help hype Monolith's next big project and it's £40 (still)!

I can see what people are saying about HD remakes of Wii games not making sense, but then I also remember that during a slow release period on the Wii we got a slew of New Play Control remakes of GameCube games on the Wii, which is how I came to play Pikmin for the first time. Given the Wii U's current woes I wouldn't be surprised to see this repeat for games like Xenoblade, which might be harder to find in the shops right now.

Oh yeah, I guess this is kinda not an HD remake, but I would love to see a Beyonetta 1 Port.

Just Majora's Mask and Eternal Darkness.. nothing else. They really need to focus on new games for now, I think a few remakes will be acceptable once they are in a more stable condition with the Wii U.

I think it would be awesome to have Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword in HD.

I'm strongly against remakes on a regular basis. I think it's an unnecessary use of resources. Right now it's very important to focus on the new, that's for sure. Once in a while it's nice though. A few candidates for me would be....

Skyward Sword (include multiple control setups as well. This game is screaming for a second chance since a lot of people missed it).
Mario Galaxy 1+2 (put them on one disc, like they do with those PS2 HD sets on PS3)
Metriod Prime Trilogy (same as Mario Galaxy)
Mario Kart Double Dash (this will probably never happen, but this game remains to be my favourite MK game)
Eternal Darkness
F-Zero GX
Star Fox Assault
Pokemon Colosseum + Gale of Darkness

I wouldn't mind seeing Skyward Sword get another outing. I thought the more contained world made it a good intro for people who didn't already know the series and it was very bright and hopeful in tone unlike Twilight Princess.

Twilight Princess, great game, great looks and a perfect fit for HD

on a side note I'd love to see Minish Cap in 3D(imagine the 3D effect when Link shrinks)

absolutely - that would be really amazing. That game is just colours on colours on colours. A few Dreamcast games would be perfect for HD Remakes if Nintendo manages to get Sega closer. I'm thinking of Phantasy Star Online (would be great with WiiU's online capabilities) and Skies of Arcadia.
As for Nintendo games there's not much that I can think of honestly. Of course it would be nice to have Skyward Sword or Xenoblade, but I don't think I would pay to play a remake of a game I played just 2-3 years ago. Better leave these games for 2017.
Probably what I'd really love to see is the first two Pikmin with those beautiful Pikmin3's graphics.

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

Galaxy games would be awesome. Also like to see them do Xenoblade Chronicles to build up more hype for the release of X.

I would like to see how an HD lift would look on Metroid Prime Hunters, considering the game looks between the N64 and Gamecube graphically. With that kind of leap, I would expect weapon lighting and the hunters to look as they do in concept art. As far as a slight gameplay tweak, I would love to be able to play as every hunter in the game's single player. Since none of them have a R button function while in alt form like the Boost Ball, a jump mechanic should be added so that each hunter can get through the locations designed around Samus' bomb jumping ability. Pair their playability with new cutscenes and completion screens, and I'll be all set.

Body Harvest from N64 with better graphics, tight controls and a consistent framerate that game would be one of the best games I've played
