Which game are you guys getting with your MK8 purchase? I'm having a hard time deciding, myself.
I own MH3U, Sonic Lost World and Nintendo Land already. I've got the GC version of Wind Waker, so I don't really care about the HD remake. I don't care about Game & Wario, Wii Party U or Mario & Sonic winter olympics.
So my choice is between NSMBU, Pikmin 3, and Wonderful 101.
NSMBU: I don't care THAT much about the 2D Mario revival games. It's an alright platformer, I suppose, but it's nothing I would buy normally. An added plus is the Luigi DLC that I could buy later.
Pikmin 3: I have never played a Pikmin game before. I should maybe try out the demo if there is one. Not a fan of the genre but I might like it, who knows.
Wonderful 101: I'm on the fence about this game. It was overhyped imho. According to reviews it has several flaws (inaccuracy of drawing weapons, steep learning curve, generally frustrating at times), but if I can get past that it might be a decent action game.
At this moment I'm leaning towards NSMBU, but I will probably change my mind tons of times before MK8 is out.
I already have WW HD and I'm not really interested in the other 3. I've heard heaps of praise for Pikmin 3, but it really just doesn't look like my kind of game. NSMBU I guess? Maybe the kids will like it.

Bedause I am in the US and have aall of them, I'll buy whichever I can sell for the most on ebay. Even though I am selling it, it's still a really sweet promotion.

If Wonderful 101 was an option available I would take that in a second, unfortunately where I am our four choices are New Super Mario Bros U, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3, and Wii Party U. The first three I already have physical copies of, and I don't have much of an interest in Wii Party U, so the question of which do I want becomes a question of which would I like a free digital copy of, and the answer to that would be New Super Mario Bros U which of the available choices is the most conducive to the sort casual "grab the gamepad and play a quick game of something" style I look for in the digital Wii U games I buy, and of the three it will probably be the smallest on my Wii U leaving room for other games that I don't actually own already.

Anyways, if i can get this deal, it's between Pikmin 3 or Wind Waker HD.

Out of the 4 games I can pick from I'm getting Pikmin 3 since I already have NSMBU, Wind Waker came with my Wii U and I have no interest in Wii Party U.
If I trade my physical copy of Pikmin 3 towards MK8, once I get the deigital version my save data will still be there, right? I'd assume so but i just wanted to double check to see if anyone has done something similar,
If it works like it does on 3DS, you'll need to download a fee save data transfer app from the eShop. Don't get rid of the physical copy until you have the digital, or you're going to be SOL.
I already have Pikmin 3, WWHD, NSMBU physical copies.... so I'll probably end up with Wii Party U, even though I have no interest in it. It could be fun if I've been drinking though... so maybe...
But if I wasn't in this situation, and if you're asking me which game I would get if I didn't own any of them.... I would say WWHD, it's awesome. My favourite Zelda title and it looks fantastic.
NSMBU isn't that great. It's more creative than NSMB Wii and I would say NSMBU is the better game, but I'm not nuts about the NSMB series in general. Pikmin 3 is a gorgeous game and I really enjoyed it, but it's not for everybody... it's also very short (but hey, for a free download, why not?)

Yes, Australia is getting the same deal as Europe (10 games.) It doesn't matter how you purchase MK8, every way is eligible.
For me, it's a choice between W101, Mario & Sonic or Nintendo Land (to which I can then sell my disc.) At the moment I'm leaning towards Nintendo Land. Every Wii U game I have is digital except for that and it annoys me. Right now there's a Wii disc in my Wii U and I keep forgetting about Nintendo Land since it's not on my menu.

Probably Wii Party U. My brother already owns NSMBU and Wind Waker HD, and I really enjoyed the first Wii Party. Also, I have a question. Will the download code ever expire? Because I'd rather wait to get a Wii U for the family before downloading Wii Party U. (My brother has the Wii U, so when he moves out, so will his Wii U.)
