Topic: Which free game should I get with Mario Kart 8

Pikmin 3 took me around 10 hours I think? But there was plenty I never did in the main game, and the other modes add quite a bit, especially if you play those modes with a friends.

Pikmin 3!! That game is awesome, and the graphics are truly amazing:) was the first Pikmin game I played, and I looove it!

Yeah, the campaign was amazing but short. And I had no interest in the other modes so decided to trade it out instead of replaying the campaign. Wouldn't recommend it as digital unless you like the strategy or co-op modes.

Here's my issue... I played Pikmin 1, tried to play it, and couldn't get into it. I got stuck somehow and got stressed out because of the days passing. So my original plan was to play all three. I also have 2 and haven't played it. Zelda - I still have more Zeldas to play that I haven't really played from numerous versions, so I'm not sure why I'll prefer to play Wind Waker before them, which I also have on the GC. Guess lack of time is the main problem. Maybe I should get Party...

Sadly I must get Wii Party U cause I have everything else...
I guess it'll be cool to have when friends come over.

I'm getting The Wonderful 101, probably. I was thinking of buying that game, but now I won't have to. Anything Platinum Games does is gold imo, so I'm looking forward to trying it out. And I love whacky japanese games like that.

Pikmin 3 is definitely my favorite Wii U game. I bought all the DLC too because me and my brother got obsessed with all the time trials.
And the graphics are better than any other game.

I also have WW HD, but tbh i haven't even beaten it yet because it just got boring, and the hd facelift still leaves a lot to be desired IMO.

Also pikmin 3 is much less stressful than the first one. I could never play it because I got freaked out over the time limit. This one is a lot easier and there is plenty of time to complete the game.

I LOVED Pikmin one. I hate multitasking so I don't like controlling more than one captain, so I'd recommend WInd Waker just because it's timeless and it's my favorite 3D Legend of Zelda.

Same here. We try to get Platinum on every mission. Getting it in co-op mode is manageable on most levels once you decide on the correct strategy, but it's hard in single player mode. We also try to compete within the family, with who gets the most Platinum medals on the missions. And I never get tired of the Bingo Battle mode.

That game is SOOOO good IMO. We don't have the option to get that game in the US, but I still don't regret buying it full price: a great option to get for free .

Out of the four games offered in North America, I'd say that Wind Waker should be the first choice, followed by Pikmin 3, followed by NSMB.U (which is pretty boring in my opinion) and then Wii Party U is the very last resort (I've played it at a friend's, it's not that good).
I'm glad that the PAL regions have more choices, but I either have/don't want all of those titles.

I wish we had Wonderful 101 as an option in the states, of the various options it's the one of the games I don't have.

Yeah I don't understand why they don't give the whole world the same options, or at least give NA some more options. But I guess at the same time it does make sense, they gave us options for their "AAA" rated titles, or at least top sold games. People here get mad if you give away the "lesser" titles. Lesser known, lesser rated, etc. People are ignorant. I can totally see most people avoiding the ones people say they want on here, just because of either an awkward rating, or they don't know/care about that game. W101 a lot of you said, I'd also get that, but I can also see most people not getting that Thank goodness I still need WPU so I get something out of it lol

Definitely easier to get platinum on co-op! The last set of DLC, especially the side scrolling levels are really hard and I can't get more than a bronze lol. I can't tell whether people are able to finish with lots of extra time or are hacking, because some of the top scores are ridiculous.

Im getting Wii Party U and I'm giving it to my buddy.

I really liked Wii Party U, it's a great game to play with a few people.
I'm not sure which game to get with mine. I'm in Europe and have already got Pikmin, WWHD, NSMBU, Wii Party U and Nintendo Land. I'm torn between a single player game like Wonderful 101, or to pick up another game to play with my girlfriend, like Game & Wario or Mario & Sonic @ Sochi. I heard G&W was pretty poor, which is really putting me off it, as I love all the other Wario Ware games.
