For those whom are puzzled over the thread's title, Allow me to explain
It seems Wii U's userbase seems to be neglectful of making sure we get a ton of indie games coming to the Wii U via making their respected Kickstarters and Indiegogos succeed
outside of ArmiKrog, most or rarely a game kickstarter/indiegogo with a Wii U stretch goal succeeds
allow me to provide a list of games we will never get thanks to neglect from the Wii U userbase
Life of Pixel
Dizzy Returns
Laika Believes: The Sun at Night
Odallus: The Dark Call
Rawbots
The Adventures of Dash
Cosmic Highway
Lords of New York
Slashear
The Big Blue
The Realm
The Wii U userbase must show that they want indie games to show up on the Wii U eShop but supporting and donating a buttload of money to the kickstarter/indiedogos so they WILL come to the Wii U
Honestly, KickStarter is not really anyone's deal. It just looks like people begging for money to me.
unlike Ouya and Smosh's scam, Kickstarter and Indiegogo are the best way for indie game makers to get funding
don't let the Smosh's scam alienate you from helping the Wii U get more indie games
I could have sworn OUYA was funded from KickStarter. Anyway, I don't know about a Smosh scam.
If I wanted to make a game and publish it, I would pay for it with my own money instead of begging.

Some games get funded, other games don't. If this were a perfect world, every kickstarter game with a WiiU stretch goal/compalitability would get funded. Such is life.....(and kickstarter)
Don't let Smosh dis-encourage you to donate to worthy Indiegogos and Kickstarter for games that are either 1. aiming for the Wii U if game's goal is made or 2. have a Wii U stretch goal
My two cents: Kickstarter is pretty lame these days. While there were some cool projects in the past, I think that best is behind us. If a Kickstarter project gets funded, makes it onto the Wii U, and gets good reviews, I will check it out. Until then, <shrug>.
Not all games can succeed. Kickstarter is in all, a game where developers compete to catch peoples attention with their projects so they can donate and support them. In the end it's all about delivering what the people want, and not all games are equally appealing and give us what we're looking for in an indie game.

Most of these kickstarter games did not look interesting. For me personally I thought Laika believes was the worst one, who really wants to play a WHAT IF scenario of the first dog sent into space and then comes back from space not just alive but looking like a cyborg!? You tell me if that doesn't seem stupid, it's like what Hollywood is doing to movies (Abraham Lincoln Vampire hunter, Jack the giant slayer, Hansel and Gretel witch hunters). The only games that are being funded are those that have some famous talent working on the project (because what are the odds of them messing up if they make good games most of the time) or games that seem really interesting from the get go (Shovel Knight, C-Wars, Cryamore, A Hat in Time, etc.) just because they're on Kickstarter it doesn't mean that they should automatically be funded or else every person with the most simple idea would be on their begging for money. Sure like any Nintendo fan, it would be nice to have alot of games on the Wii U but at the same time we want good games because having a bad game that no one would play is like having no game at all.
I get the point you are trying to make but there are plenty of great games that didn't make it. Buddy and Me was funded but no Wii U version. You can't blame the Wii U's userbase for not donating or even knowing about these titles. Some games succeed, some don't. All we can do is try to inform people about Kickstarters. It kind of bugs me that there isn't a Kickstarter thread allowed in the Wii U section on Nintendo Life as I don't like going through the always busy General Discussion to try to find the Kickstarter Thread
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Not so bad now, ain't it?
This, End Thread/
Seriously, the Op focuses on the negative but there are still a lot that have been funded with Wii U support. Frankly I look forward to when I don't need to kickstart a game to get Wii U support because they want to make the game on the Wii U to begin with. So if you didn't kickstart any of the above games, but like what you see make sure to buy em.
Kickstarter and Indiegogo is the only way for indie games and films to get funded
Before you use Ouya and the recent scam from Smosh among other things that are slenderizing the crowd funding procedure, Please understand that we need to keep funding games in order get more than we're already getting in terms of indie game for the system
The ones we foolishly ignored like those i mentioned in the OP to some are meh but please consider this thought
Within the Indiegogos and Kickstarters for games that are either A. intended to release on Wii U eShop if initial goal is set or B. Wii U stretch goal is included and must be fulfilled in order for it's release to be a reality - There's a diamond in the rough (Life of Pixel could've been a gem for all we know but sadly we will never know because it's not funded)
eBegging could be good depending of who does it properly, Smosh's eBegging for "Food Battle: The Game" is basically swindling their fans for more money even though Smosh has the money from their videos that they could've used to fund the game already
Crowd Funding style eBegging could be either good or bad - just don't paint crowd funding with negative brush stroke
