It will end when Nintendo fans actually want to buy 3rd party games and not Mario and Zelda over and over again.
can't we just buy both third party and Mario and Zelda?

Which are, let me guess, Mario and Zelda or look alikes.... and don't be ashamed of that, everyone has his own tastes.... but it is peculiar, and the main subject of discussion now, that the most of the userbase of WiiU is like that... and that's why we don't have third parties, cos they don't sell, or, using your words, they "don't happeal us"....

Platformers, puzzle games, action/adventure, some RPGs, and some simulation games. I don't ask for third party games if they don't appeal to me

As long as you don't care what the consequences are..........sure.
I don't agree with your mindset. People should buy games they like and not for the sake of supporting devs. Instead of making games that appeal to people, people are going to start supporting the devs just because?
Don't get me wrong, people should totally buy 3rd party games on the Wii U (the gamepad features are marvellous), but it should be the games they like and not just for the sake of supporting. I've bought almost all 3rd party games on the Wii U but not for the sake of supporting. I just happened to like all those games!

yes but many people take the no risk path and choose Nintendo only, gotta gamble a little sometimes to see if you can find new things you didn't know you liked

The reason this is happening is because third party games don't sell well on Nintendo consoles. Arkham City: Armored Edition sold a mere 0.22 million copies compared to the PS3 version selling sold almost 5 million.
The PS3 has sold 80 million compared to 6 million Wii Us (Wikipedia), which means that 3.666% of Wii U owners purchased it, compared to 6.25 PS3 owners purchasing it.
Except there are other factors here.
Exactly why no developer/publisher wants to take a step further. While some people might look at it and say "There's no proof that the game won't sell.", whereas these developers are looking at it and saying "There's no proof that the game will sell." They've decided to play it safe, and I can't blame them for not risking money.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Hmm, this is a weird sentiment. I hear this often around here. "Support 3rd party so we get 3rd party." As if I am responsible for what goes on between Nintendo and its 3rd party relations. Ummm, sorry but no. I am a consumer, and my only responsibility to Nintendo or Ubisoft or whoever is to spend money where I see fit. If I don't want Splinter Cell: More Stealth, or Assassin's Creed: More Assassinatin', or whatever other endless sequels those huge companies opt to port over, well then that's that. I'm not going to go out on a limb and spend money on games I don't really want. It's 2014, we have the internet, we have reviews, and we have a clear understanding of what we like and don't like. Jumping on a landmine, aka buying some 3rd party game, in an act of "support" just ain't happening. At least not from me. It either appeals to me or it doesn't.

I don't think either of you really understood me, what I'm saying is buy what you want but don't complain later when Wii U isn't considered as a platform for xyz game in a franchise. If not enough people are buying AC games we shouldn't be complaining when AC games no longer come. I'm not saying just support the developers because but you can't blame or get angry at them when they choose to not support Wii U.
It won't end, and most likely, third party developers are not coming back for good..........developers traditionally don't reaproach lukewarm consoles, especially if they are underpowered comparatively to the present standard.
The most Nintendo can do is throw some money at a random developer to get the odd second party exclusive title here and there.
It's not really going to end. Nintendo's consoles are the only consoles where I believe people actually buy them to play Nintendo games. People just don't want to play something else. I know a lot of people have issues with Ubisoft but I mean they truly did try to support the Wii U console in the beginning but they failed. I mean ZombiU was a great game and it has made the best use of the gamepad so far (this was a launch title BTW) and it still sold poorly. Even Just Dance isn't enough to move Wii U consoles (considering it helped sell a lot of Wii consoles). Yet people are still baffled on why ubisoft has almost no games coming for the Wii U in the near future.

ZombiU was great as a launch title but didn't hold up much later in the lifetime and Just Dance moved the Wii because the first was an exclusive and focussed on the way of control which was a first back then. This doesn't work on the WiiU because the gamepad doesn't actually add that much to the game for key features.
Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am

The lack of 3rd Parties isn't the fault of people who don't buy 3rd party games, but instead buy them on other systems. If you buy 3rd Party on Wii U, thats great you are helping. If you don't buy 3rd Party games, then you aren't hurting anyone. If you own a Wii U but continue to buy 3rd Party games on other systems then you are encouraging 3rd Parties not to support the Wii U, which doesn't affect you but it affects others. This is why the discussion about 3rd Party support is so mixed. The ones unaffected, in short term, by it aren't going to care. The ones affected by it will, but they are already doing their part and can't do more.
When you have the choice, try to support 3rd Party on Wii U, and try not to wait for the price to come down 3rd Parties rely on day 1 purchases more than Nintendo. If a fanbase is found on Wii U then 3rd Parties will come.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
