Well after reading a few posts here. I come across the thread
https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/wii-u/youre_gonna_laugh_bu...
In there somewhere @SCAR392 Posted about Ubisoft holding back a completed Wii U game. This got me thinking what game could It be?

Personally I think It's The Crew.

What are your thought's on this and what game do you think It could be?

It's a biography about my life. Relive my adventures as I travel to far away planets! Duel pirates and ninjas SIMULTANEOUSLY! Help me discover the cure for the common cold! And during it all, watch as I develop a reputation as the universe's greatest lover.

And it all happened in a day.

They basically said they are holding it back until they can take advantage of a bigger market on Wii U, otherwise they'll put it somewhere instead. It's not The Crew. They already specifically said that The Crew will only come out on Xbox 360, besides Xbox One and PS4, as far as consoles go. It's a family game of some sort.

Withholding a finished game like this is just proof how much control over the market Ubisoft has. They aren't in any sort of hurry or have any initiative to release the game unless it will absolutely 100% benefit them. No one can blame them for that, to be fair. Even if it ends up going to other platforms, instead, those platforms probably won't be Xbox One or PS4, otherwise we probably would have already came out on those systems, or we would have seen something about it already. They also said they'd make a decision about it after 2014 was over, so we'll see something about the game this year.

There were speculations that it might be Pictionary. I can see that speculation holding some weight, otherwise we have no clue about what it is.

My hope: It's a game that utilized the Ubi-Art engine like Rayman Legends or Child of Light. Old IP or new, doesn't matter, but it's such a lovely engine and Michel Ancel has used it so well.

My expectation: Family-orientated casual game.

A Rabbids game though it will probably have better Gamepad support than the vast majority of 1st party titles.

Since Ubi has never met a franchise it didn't like to milk I've always thought the obvious answer was Zombie U2. Why would they make Zombie U if they weren't planning a sequel? And I kind of always hoped they planned it for dual Gamepad support for couch co-op. I've never played the original - don't like FPS games or zombie games - but from what I've read ZU is a good game and I would think couch co-op w/ 2 Gamepads would make it even better. So the real reason they aren't releasing it is simple, no dual Gamepad support despite Nitneod's comments to the contrary.

And even if it's just a simple sequel w/o dual Gamepad support I still think that's the game and they are just waiting for a larger install base.

Its either ZombiU 2 or a very family oriented game. Most likely... Its garbage.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

I don't believe they have some game hidden in their vaults. Either it's a misspoken quote or a fabrication.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

The first one was absolute rubbish. Not a patch on any of the first party competition like Nintendo Land.

At this point whatever it is will likely be so far behind the times that it wouldn't sale anyway even if ubisoft decided to release it now. It is obviously not something that they have a ton of faith in otherwise I'd say the install base is large enough now for them to release it.

Though Rayman Legends and ZombiU both had significantly better Gamepad usage than almost all 1st party games.

That it was. I feel bad for Ubisoft wasting their talents by refusing to know how to market to a person that isn't a casual 360/Ps3 owner.

Didn't they say somewhere they were waiting for more "families" to have the system?
So.... draw conclusions from that.

Or maybe my memory isn't recalling that correctly.
