The only thing I hate about Nintendo is the Mii avatar characters, I really really really dislike them and I hate seeing them every time I turn on the system, I love the idea of the Mii and Miiverse, but I really wish Nintendo would change the look of the Mii's! I cant stand them, and personally, I find them embarrassing... I would love to see a Mii that is similar to a customizable "Ness" character, with different clothing options and facial expressions, now that would be great, I would feel good turning on the system and seeing my own custom nintendo-like character... What do you guys think? Does anyone else dislike the Mii avatar?
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
It really depends. I think the Miis are fine. They are better than Xbox avatars and PS Home characters, at least, IMO. If we were to talk about real "Miis", I'd say The Sims beats everything, but I get what you mean about the chossing clothes and stuff. That's the only thing that's better about Xbox avatars and PS Home characters. Streetpass Plaza lets you wear hats and suits.
It would probably take longer to sync Miis to Wara Wara Plaza, because now they would have to tell the servers to apply which outfit you have with 1000s of options across 100+ Miis.
I never actually knew what the xbox avatars looked like untill now, thats a bit too much customization for me, I dont care much for putting scarves, glasses etc on an avatar... It doesnt have to be complicated.... I just want to be able to apply different patterns, and letters, numbers etc to my clothes... for example, I would like to put a striped shirt with a letter "R" on the front for the first letter of my name, and wear a hat.
But, My main dislike for the Mii's is that they look like a blow-up doll version of Villager, Villager looks better then the Mii's... I would really like them to look more like Ness, or at least just put open hands on them, and make them look less like a blow-up doll.
That's true, I'm surprised by what some people can do with their Miis. I've seen Kenny from South Park, a buttface and a few other weird ones on streetpass.
