If this is a topic on gender equality and here you are making petty insults about my name? Did a girl beat you in a videogame? It's okay everyone loses to me~
Wait get your lies off the internet this is no place for females they don't exist on here little n00blet.

Is it ok to say that most guy gamers are creeps? I think you missed the point of the question entirely, as well as my response to your indignant answer to it.

It's Black Friday, you are in the fanciest shop in town. You fight over the best offers and every so many succesfully bought items you get cuppon perks to debastate the competition with.

It's a bloddy game, though. Not recommended for young ladies.

The only reason girls keep there gaming a secret is because most guys gamers are creeps.

LOL, because guys aren't used to it. Also, I don't know if you're a female or not, but if you have a sexy anime girl as your avatar and a name like "Bad Kitty", you're going to attract some pervs.

Are you saying because her name is Badkitty, she will attract pervs?
If I change my name to BadLordJumpMad, will I also attract pervs? Since we're on the topic of "gender equality".
Anyway, videogames are not marketed to any gender, just mostly children like you.

No, I said if you put a sexy anime girl as your avatar AND called yourself Badkitty, it will open you up to all sorts of sexist shenanigans. Perhaps you aren't aware of this, but Kitty is a slang term for vagina, which I did not introduce to society but you can look it up it's true. Then she wonders why the people she encounters are creeps. That's what I'm saying. BadLordJumpMad isn't slang for anything, and your avatar isn't in any way risque. As far as believing that products like video games aren't marketed to men or women, well, you can keep believing that if you want to.

From my experience, the CoD scene had an equal amount of boys and girls. When I play TitanFall on Xbox One or Ghosts on Wii U, there are always an abundance of girl soldiers, while I do realize that some guys might play as a girl, I highly doubt this is the case.

I do think girls are more likely to play Barbie, pet, sim, baby, etc. type games like that, but I know girls play all the same games guys do, for the most part. This is just my perspective, because they make some games not really appeal to guys, either. Style Savvy Trendsetters doesn't have a GF mode, as far as I'm aware.

Its hard to say. For example a lot of Fantasy RPGS or Bioware games tend to have a big female player base. Likewise I've heard the the Fable series skews more female and it was one of the reasons why the games would be in bundles with something like Forza.

a, and Final Fantasy XIII had a prominent female role, even if Lighting was kind of a "tomboy"(IMO). I think it ultimately depends on who they think will play the game, and their idea about what the game is. Even if a ton of girl gamers are playing The Legend of Zelda, Link might still be the chrarcter they want you to play as.

Even guy characters aren't what a guy might want to play as. Nathan Drake and the new character from Dead Rising 3 are pretty annoying, IMO. It goes both ways, just as some people might think Bayonetta is annoying, but can still enjoy the game.

In retrospect I shouldn't have worded the post that way, I don't really mean COD specifically, I used it as a generic term for the action games that have been traditionally marketed to men. My bad. I can see from some of the responses to my post that many female gamers are (understandably) defensive, but I don't mean to be insulting, I'm trying to imagine what the future will be like with the added attention now being put towards female gamers.

There is no "answer" to the female equivalent of Call of Duty. Both men and women play it. The thing is that the majority of men play it, and in our society, video games are thought to be "for boys" and less "for girls", and since men are the majority of the video game market, games like Call of Duty are targeted towards that demographic. Nobody really bothers to make a big-budget "just-for-girls" game because they would risk losing the male market, or some lame excuse that it's too difficult to make (like Ubisoft just did days ago).

This is the wrong way to address some constructive input from a fellow game enthusiast; assuming you were speaking to a female gamer (with any name your mind will read as innuendo) would that give you a free pass to be disrespectful and distasteful?
Frankly your tone is offensive and undermines this "discussion" of yours.

I'm sorry, but saying "most guys gamers are creeps" isn't even close to constructive. Try again.

I find that insulting. Though I don't waste my time looking at pervish slang words with my free time as others apparently do.

it'd be a bloody mess of a bad game with lots of misconceptions about what girls like, considering you mean a "feminine call of duty" made by the guys who make call of duty.
seriously show me a man that claims to fully understand women and I'll say he's just a convincing performer and I say the same about any woman who claims to fully understand men.
or even better, show me a person who claims to understand humanity as a whole, so I can laugh at its face for being so arrogant to make such mighty claims.
