I never gave the Metroid remakes a fair chance. My brother owned a Gamecube and I played the first one for a couple hours and immediately wrote it off as heresy against the franchise. I've always regretted that hasty decision lol so I would definitely like to play through the Metroid Gamecube games if given the chance.
Nintendo never announced this dude. But if they do then Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Mario Sunshine.
Games I'm playing currently: Legend of Zelda: A Link Betweeen Worlds, Tearaway
Games I'm excited for: Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8

Depends on what they're doing. If it's just the same games, none. I don't want to get a download game that's the same thing as what I can go buy at Gamestop for a similar price. I only bought VC games because I couldn't find them in a store.
If they're adding new features, like online or HD, then either Kirby Air Ride, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Star Fox Assault, F-Zero GX, or Super Mario Sunshine. Whatever comes first, basically.

Gamestop stopped selling gamecube games before the Wii U came out. Trust me, I know. I used to buy used games fairly often from there. Wii, DS and gamecube. Other stores have it, but there are still stores that sell nes and snes games, so why buy it on vc, right?
HD remakes are great, but not every game needs it. I would love to see plenty of HD remakes myself, not just of gamecube games.

Well aren't they looking to upgrade all VC titles? GamePad support, Customizable Controls, Miiverse.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Two gamestops in my area still sell them (neener neener neener) so I'm good.
And Gamecube games need the visual upgrades more than anything, IMO. That way they can improve the textures to some degree, and lower the aliasing. That alone would do wonders.

I meant more like what I've been getting on the 360 and PS3 for the past few years now. If other companies can make due selling games with improved graphics, online features, and achievements for $10-$15, why can't Nintendo? I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Otherwise, I'll simply finish collecting the last few GCN games I need, and be done with it.
I am drawing a blank. What from PS2, Xbox, and GameCube generation has gotten updated with all those features for $10-$15 that didn't have those feature to begin with?
I'm afraid there won't be GameCube games on Wii U anytime soon... It's hard to imagine why Nintendo would announce Game Boy Advance games on Virtual Console but not have GameCube. GameCube is a much more necessary platform to have on Wii U, in my opinion. Also, the announcement of Wind Waker HD makes it seem like Nintendo is making up for not having GC games by remaking them for the system. This way, they'll have some excuses for not having a GC VC.
Sorry if I'm being negative... To answer your question, I think I might get F-Zero GX.

I think they won't have GameCube for awhile but it will come. They are doing the HD Wind Waker to hold us over and GameBoy Advance is a lot easier to re-code for the Wii U. This all takes time, that is also why they only announced NES and SNES titles are getting the updated features as of right now. N64 and the others will take some time.

Um, lots. Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X, The Prince of Persia Trilogy, The Devil May Cry Trilogy, The Jak Trilogy, The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, The Sly Cooper Trilogy, and quite a few more. Then there's all those Dreamcast games from Capcom and Sega (which are from the same generation as well). Sure, they have straight rereleases as well, but I don't buy them.

There's at least 5 GameStops around me that all sell GameCube games.

Yeah, yeah. I get it. The ones in my area were just some of the ones that stopped. When I asked the guy he said, "gamestop stopped selling gamecube games and started selling tablets." I thought he meant all, not just some.
