So Nintendo's conference is finally over, there were a lot of people that were a bit disappointed by the Wii U's E3 showing and apparently Nintendo's shares dropped after the conference. So at this point, what can Nintendo do now in order to change everyone's minds and prove to them that the Wii U can and will be successful?
I think Nintendo needs to give us in depth information on the Wii U and I mean really in-depth. They showed so much at their conference that they didn't have enough time to explain to us how the Wii U itself will work and how it will make games (like ports) even better. They need to show us more miiverse and more asymmetric gameplay and clear up some of those points that were still left unclear to us.
So what do you guys think Nintendo has to do now?

Those are some good suggestions but I think you forgot to mention the most important thing which is the games.

Only time can tell but if Nintendo could somehow make an appealing console to all types of gamers I say it'll sell.

Have good games. None of which were shown at E3... I'm really disappointed with Nintendo for that abysmal conference.

I can't believe they messed up the 3DS conference too, they might have some work to do now in order to redeem themselves. AC is like the main reason i bought my 3DS at $250. They could have given me a trailer at least. Well it's got some serious work to do because Wii U and 3DS underwhelmed this year.

Are you excluding ports? Because those are still games. There were 3 ports there, and a bunch of other future multiplatform titles. It seems like a broad amount of games was announced. Of course, no 3D Mario, Zelda, Starfox, F-Zero or Metroid, but there are other GREAT games, (and great looking games) coming out for it.

They're presentation was not that bad. Really, they would only have needed one more heavy hitter, like a new Metroid from Retro or F-Zero, to make almost everyone satisfied.

I agree! The had a very balanced presentation and it was good for the investors and general public. They should have just done something else during the mini game presentation of ghost mansion.

It needs great marketing campaigns because it's a really great package and an awesome looking console. It needs to be presented correctly and aggressively to the public and it'll sell like cupcakes,

OK so a lot of people here tend to agree they F***ed up at E3, but I think with a little extra effort and if they offer another Nintendo Direct sometime in the near future they might just be able to impress us yet, better late than never. I just hope they listen to all of the reactions they got about Animal Crossing and they tell us something soon before I start looking like the troll I've become XD

If we can use external memory does that mean I can pop in a terabyte flashdrive or will it only accept flashdrives with a certain amount of memory? Wait is it using flashdrives or are we sticking to SD cards again (IDK much about technology so IDK if this is a stupid question)?

It supports external USB storage so I think it's fairly safe to say that you'll be able to use any USB storage in the same way that you can use the SD card on the 3DS. Which is cool because I've got a 250GB external HDD here not being used.
