Smash Tour is a lot of fun. I have played it once with a friend and once alone. I look forward to playing it more. I think it is better than Smash Run on 3DS
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I actually like Classic mode more this time. Took out the minigames that I didn't really want to play in the middle of fights anyway, and the difficulty slider is awesome.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
I actually miss Adventure mode and Subspace Emissary — I feel that both of those were my favorite modes outside of classic Smash. Smash Run is poop of the highest order, and I haven't tried Smash Tour, but I'm hearing very mixed things.
All the other modes are great though, and if Tour sucks, then that's ok, because there are plenty of other modes to distract me. My ONLY complaint is that I wish Special Smash had more options. Special was always my favorite mode in Melee.
I loved Smash Run. Smash Tour, on the other hand, is one of the worst modes I've ever played in a Smash Bros. game. Absolutely boring and convoluted all at the same time. I'm putting off a lot of challenges for now, I'm in no rush to play that again. If only we had Break the Targets again... Which by the way, Target Blast is pretty boring too.
@JaxonH This is like the first hate thread I've ever seen you post but yes I agree the mode looks like a mess and seems completely unfair at points and not very fleshed out, I think I'll be sticking to 8 man Smash when I get the game Friday.
Was also wondering how about other modes like stage builder?
Only thing I don't like about is Classic is 8 player smash. Especially when the game decides to constantly choose smaller stages, and the CPUs gang up on you to the point where you die before you can even attack.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I was very let down and frustrated. I really liked Smash Run lol...
Rest of the game is bliss though. Stage builder, while uber-simple, is amazing. It's just the fact you can design platforms how you want them to be. I made the funnest stage ever last night! No, it's not as pretty as the official ones but dang is it fun! I think I might have made a masterpiece! Simple but excellent, with a barrel on the edge of screen on the bottom (if you drop off edge)that blasts you up to another barrel that blasts you across a platform (wiping anyone out who's on it) and stopping right over a moving platform. Oh it's so awesome

Smash Run is the better single player experience, but I think Smash Tour was made more for local multiplayer instead of against the CPU players who are not good.IMO,it's a pretty fun mode.Though, there is a little too much complexity and chance involved in the mode.
