Skies of Arcadia: Legends and a Fire Emblem or Baiten Kaitos double-pack - we need dem RPGs
I whole heartedly second that. I would even appreciate a simple digital re-release of those games. Some kind of WiiU remaster would be ideal of course, but I'd also happily just take a digital version playable in WiiU mode/gamepad. I wouldn't even mind a tad higher pricetag like with Earthbound. $40-50 for both FE games, or both Baiten Kaitos games would still be a complete steal in my book. Make it happen Nintendo!
I fully expect them to re-release Radiant Dawn, along with the other Wii games that they are putting up for sale for $9.99 (Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Punch-Out, so far), and then bumping them up to $19.99 a week afterward. It might not be for a while, but, I could totally see them doing it to promote the amiibo crossover with Codename S.T.E.A.M. They could also just wait for IF to come out, but that's going to be a while.
I'd re-buy it. Would really like to see Gamecube games, though....specifically Path of Radiance.
I don't think that deal on Wii VC games will last. At some point I think they will release at $20.
I don't. I'm pretty sure they will all release like this, and it's done on purpose to drive sales. No one is going to buy these games at $20.

Why not? I would.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
3DS Friend Code: 2621-2786-9784 | Nintendo Network ID: DefHalan
Okami (would be a perfect fit for the Gamepad...and it's soooo gorgeous even in SD)
Eternal Darkness
Killer7
Viewtiful Joe 1+2 (and that fighting spin-off in the package wouldn't hurt, too)
Metroid Prime Trilogy (obviously not gonna happen, but I'd buy it in a heartbeat)

Well, I kinda see your point, as I would pay whatever for Fire Emblem. But, I just think they are trying to get as much money as possible from new fans, and new owners, who never had a Wii. I had one, but I am still buying games that I have that are either in storage, or I never got to play. Almost all of them, except Fire Emblem, would be a non-purchase for $20. I think those people see it this way, too. Just a guess, though.
I just love it that they are actually doing a deal, which is honestly amazing for Nintendo.
I wouldn't want Radient Dawn unless they find some way to re-release Path of Radiance and make them cross-compatible...I don't care if I gotta pay a full $60 for both. It'd be better than selling my kidney in order to afford just one of them used...
I liked Sin & Punishment Star Successor. I got it last year so I wasn't too impressed with the graphics. But if they did an HD combo pack with Sin and Punishment N64, I'd buy that.
Seeing as Wii games are comming digitally and GCN games will likely follow using that same method. see my posts on a few NL articles or forums to see my pov/experience on this and why its perfectly not out of reason for the N to do so
So, comming from this recent revelation I don't see many HD remakes on the Wii U in particular. However, if I was to gamble i'd say Mario Sunshine might get remade simply because its the one 3D Mario game that was still rushed to release and despite being polished it has its fair share of problems, and what better way to fix those than with a remake. Outside of sunshine, I can see Nintendo testing the worth of the F-Zero franchise with a re-release of F-Zero X or GX similar to how Star Fox 64 3D determined wether or not we'd see a future star fox game and as we all know, Star Fox U is comming this year XD Other than that, with this new digital distribution of Wii games, that can work for GCN titles as well see my posts on other NL articles/forums! I think HD remakes aren't going to come in mass from the big N, but I cannot say the same for N64 remakes on the 3DS/New3DS.. thats another topic for debate.
@renaryuugufan92 I agree. Sunshine definitely seems fit for a HD remake sometime soon. The HD would do wonders visually, but this is also an opportunity to fix bugs and add content.
Also, love the avatar! Didn't know anyone else on Nintendolife has watched Higurashi!
I think Super Mario Sunshine would look gorgeous in HD. I never got to play F-Zero GX so that would be cool, and any or all of the Metroid Primes in HD would just be too awesome.
I think Pikmin 1+2 would be good in HD. I'd rather have a new game for F Zero than a remake, but at this point, I'll take what I can get. I'm more into amiibo at the moment.
