I see Octopus Dance on a lot of people's least favorite list. I actually like that one.

Oh, I like it, I like all the games, so it was hard for me to pick a least favorite.

I didn't like it much at first, but it grew on me over time and now I like it. I actually like all the attractions too, but some more than others of course.

Most wanted Smash Bros. newcomers
1. King K. Rool
2. Mii
3. Takamaru
4. Kat & Ana
Little Mac was on the list, but he's been confirmed.

I'd have to say Donkey Kong Crash Course is my favorite game by far. A friend and I spent at least a good eight hours total trying to beat it, and when we did, we had two more levels to complete (which brings the total to four levels).

My least favorite is probably a tie between Luigi's Ghost Mansion and Octopus Dance. The former feels too much like the other chase me mini games and is actually very disappointing. The latter is unresponsive and uninspiring.

Luigi's Mansion only really shines with big groups. Randomly dashing to throw them off when you switch directions, using the ghost powers to short out their lights... all while they frantically tell each other when they feel you close. But everyone has their preferences. I do agree the Donkey Kong one is really fun almost in a retro way, difficult but addictive!

Favorite: Metroid Blast
It was either LoZ: Battle Quest, or this. Battle Quest is really good, but since you have no control of where you can go, it isn't as engaging or fun as Metroid Blast.

Least Favorite: Octopus Dance
I don't like this one because it's a rhythm game. Rhythm games get annoying really fast and I can never respond or memorize the moves fast enough.

I like all the others too, but the freedom of Metroid Blast makes it really fun(when my brother and cousin are willing to play this...) with the teamwork. Octopus Dance isn't even really that bad either, but it's the least interactive IMO.

I really need to put some more time in to decide upon a favourite, but offhand I'd say it's a toss-up between Pikmin Adventure and Balloon Trip.

Least favourite hands-down is Captain Falcon's Twister Race. Using motion controls is good, but having to look at a top down view on the Gamepad whilst the pretty HD stuff is on the TV is utter pants. Really should have opted for Mario Kart-style controls for this and ditched the Gamepad screen for anything but off-TV play.

hmmm.... probably makes more sense for me to give them all a score out of ten first because I don't really "hate" any of them. So here goes.

  • Zelda: 8/10
  • Pikmin: 7.5/10
  • Metroid: 8.5/10
  • Yoshi's fruit cart: 7/10
  • Octopus dance: 6/10
  • Donkey Kong's crash course: 9.5/10
  • Takamaru's Ninja Castle: 8/10
  • Captain Falcon's twister race: 7.5/10
  • Balloon trip breeze: 8/10
  • Mario Chase: 9.5/10
  • Luigi's Ghost Mansion: 9/10
  • Animal Crossing: 10/10

So Octopus Dance is my least favourite and Animal Crossing is my favourite but in general I think they're all pretty damn good. Only reason I don't particularly like Octopus dance is because there's nothing much to it. I guess somewhat ironically it's problem is that it's only really as deep as one of the simpler Game and Watch games... Flag in particular. It's not bad it's just that I doubt I'll find myself going back to it anytime soon.

Animal Crossing is awesome in groups and I like it the most out of those games because it forces you to co-operate. With the others one player can kinda coast around and it won't impact your success too much but with Animal Crossing it's critical and you get very, very strong communications and tactics happening. Even with inexperienced players. I don't think I've seen any other game manage to do what it does to the extent it does.

My favourite is Zelda Battle Quest, it uses the GamePad so well and I love using the bow. It's a feeling no other game has ever produced due to the unique nature of the GamePad, like I'm actually wielding a mighty weapon. It's chunky but somehow remarkably accurate and mastering levels is so satisfying. Not to mention the awesome music and nice graphical style, it's close to a full blown Zelda game. I wish there were more bosses because the tension when dodging is incredible.

Least Favourite - F-Zero. Here we have a controller that is practically a Formula 1 steering wheel... and we're holding it vertically? The actual game is fine but the controls are a disaster. It's a bad example for third parties to copy too.

I dont have a favorite, most of them are top quality (IMO) very different experiences with their own gameplay style, graphic and sound reminiscent of the Nintendo franchise being represented, and I enjoy playing and aiming for high scores, trophies and stamps.

However I do have a least favorite (read hated) one. Yoshi's fruit cart, maybe its just me but I dont see any kind of fun, skill or hability in drawing a path crossing points (moving in most later stages) that cant be seen where you are drawing (at least in the plain stages where there is no pattern or reference in the floor to guide you), its just luck, and I cant say if its a something that could be developed with practice, because the slow pacing combined with this frustrating gameplay mechanic and having to go through the same Monita's explanation EVERY time you lose a life prevent me from playing it enough to develope practice with this attraction.
