Topic: What is it with Nintendo and Islands?

I'd rather have them create 100 fictional islands than have games set on always-repeated existing locations. I am starting to hate games that just use existing architecture just because the developers can't come up with something unique. Nintendo always goes with some crazy locations, while games just remake existing cities (Division, Watch Dogs, Call of Duty, Battlefront, Sleeping Dogs, Infamous all take place in real world settings) and try to tell you that it's amazing, because they did a million of pictures and modeled stuff that they saw.
