Link has played so many different instruments through the years. For the new Zelda game coming out for Wii U, not many details are known. One of the details we know nothing about is what instrument he will play. What instrument do you think he will play? Will it be new or old?

Electric Guitar, different Eddie Van Halen solos for different warp locations!
LOL!
It will be called
The Legend of Zelda: Brutal Legend
It will require a new Motion sensing headgear device that will register how much head banging you are doing, the more head banging the more loot drops you get.
Link - Ocarina
Zora Link - Guitar
Deku Link - Trumpet
Goron Link - Drums
Toon Link - Pan Flute and Conductor's Baton
Skyward Link - Harp
New Link - Piano?????
Why does he have to play an instrument at all? All he had in A Link Between Worlds was a bell.
Since the gamepad has a mic in it, maybe it will be a wind instrument and you have to blow into the mic to play the instrument.

Would have preferred him rocking a Gibson SG and school boy outfit, imagine the lightning bolts crashing down when he plays thunderstruck and god only knows what would happen if he played hells bells... I'm sending my ideas to Nintendo now!!!!

I was saving that for the new Co-op feature!
You heard it here first people, this is the future of Zelda. This is the leak you all wanted!

I really hope that isn't the case. The wind instrument in Spirit Tracks wasn't very reliable.. I remember getting stuck at one of the sages for like 15 minutes because it wouldn't play the song correctly. It was pretty frustrating.
...Although, it was a cool idea. I don't think I would mind that idea again if it was done flawlessly.
As to what Link will be playing in the next game, It's obviously going to be a Banjo. It's the next logical step.
Oh? Did Nintendo already do the blowing into the mic idea? Spirit Tracks is like the only Zelda game I haven't played (aside from the CD-i games). Well, good. Then hopefully it won't be done again.

Link lugging a grand piano up the stairs of Hyrule Castle will be brilliant.
...it's either that or he has one of those little toy pianos like Schroeder, and I honestly can't decide which possibility I like better.
@DudeSean Yup.. I forget what the instrument was but I remember having to blow in the mic multiple times to move forward in the game. It was alright at the beginning, but towards the end there were some questionable songs that it just wouldn't except when I played. You'd have to blow and get the timing down perfectly and somehow I just wouldn't get it, even though I was hitting all the notes and I believed the timing was right. It was frustrating like I said.
That was actually the worst thing about the game.. aside from some train parts, but I enjoyed the train for the most part. Spirit Tracks was actually a really good game and it caught me by surprise. Talking about it now kind of gives me the urge to play it again.. I actually recommend checking it out if you haven't played it and you own a DS/3DS. It's worth it, despite some of it's faults. I'm happy to see that there's a Spirit Tracks level in SSB 3DS.
