it kind of fits the bill but also doesn't
-the game was already halfway through development before getting scrapped
-the game could easily be finished in 6 months
-had a prototype for what could be "zombi 2" so obviously they might have been working on zombi 2 or continuing killer freaks from outer space
or it could be ghost recon online (a.k.a phantoms) or a really really bad party game

Ubisoft already hinted that it was more of a family oriented type game anyway

familys" may have just slipped out the guys mouth but was actually using it as a term to describe once more people actually have it in their home just like the rayman thing from that smash bros gameplay a family could be made of 2 18 year olds a 30 and 31 year old so
so when using the term "family" doesn't neccisarily mean it has to be child friendly

I would be very surprised if the game that became Zombi U had somehow been turned into a family game from Ubisoft. I also need to check out Rabbids Land. It must be cheap and can't be as bad as reviews have said!

My guess is that it's some kind of U Draw game. I don't know why they'd hold anything back when there is a captive audience often desperate to spend money during Nintendo's planned game droughts. To be honest I think their CEO might be a Sony or MS fanboy. Probably switched to the dark side after Red Steel 2 didn't exceed expectations. The Rayman delay thing backfired tremendously and ruined the game for people who didn't play it on Wii U(despite the great reviews). It was probably the best use of gamepad so far, a true proof of concept for asymmetric multiplayer. Most reviews completely ignored the Wii U features and at least one try to count them as a negative.

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
