Wii sports is arcade not Sim. Drive Club and Project Cars are different in that way as well.
As per Xbox One the three games I want the most wont be out till next year.
Well, my opinion is that Wii Sports baseball represents baseball more accurately, because motion controls. I couldn't care less about managing teams and whether the graphics look real. Wii Sports baseball will will let me swing the controller, MLB: The Show won't.
If the games you want on Xbox One aren't out yet, then which 3 did you want on PS4 that are available now?
That's not accurate to baseball though. The sport is more than about swinging the bat. Its about defense and fielding and having those moments where you intentionally walking a pitcher to first base to close the ending on a double play.
I like Wii Sports but its no where near the show when it comes to showing off baseball. (Ironically my second favorite baseball game is rusty real deal).
Plus Road to the Show is Clutch for me alongside the regular franchise mode.
As per the three games they were
Infamous Second Son
MLB The Show 14
Third game is Batman or the Order.

Well, we don't know whether Wii baseball will have fielding or not. Based on E3 2011, they plan on having someone use the GamePad to be an out fielder, and they will probably still be a pitcher, so who knows? I just find the motion control to be more engaging.
As for your game choice, that's fair enough. My point was that some games are similar enough to most likely not warrant a purchase of both, for most people.

@SCAR392 you don't get it do you, some people want to play all upcoming third party multiplats for the next 5-7 years...... if they want that the Wii U is not an option because it has no third party support...... then they have 3 choices Xbone, PS4 and PC people have their preference of PC vs console if they prefer console they decide between Xbone or PS4 based on Exclusives, Price, their preference of a controller, previous experience with the brand ect...... and yah some choose PS4 over Xbone because it runs some things at 1080p that Xbone runs at 900p but the hardware would count for noting if people did not believe that the console would get third party support........ the reason people do not choose the Wii U is because it won't run the 8th gen only multiplat titles... not many have been announced at this point but out of those that have been announced only one, Project Cars is supposed to be coming to the Wii U... all others, Arkham Knight, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV, Assassins Creed Unity have been confirmed not to be coming to Wii U so Wii U is not an option for people who want to play this games.....

Looking at 7th gen sales for games this statement can be confirmed as absolute rubbish.
@ferthepoet
Wii U can run 8th gen games. That doesn't mean 3rd parties will support it, though. Square Enix never even said Wii U was totally out. All they said was that any console with high enough specs would be considered.
Warner Bros. never even said Wii U wasn't getting the game, because of specs. They said it won't be on last gen consoles, but that doesn't include Wii U at all.
They aren't going to say why they haven't announced games for Wii U, but it's still wrong to assume that it's because of specs.
Everybody said Wii U wasn't going to get CoD Ghosts, but then it did. Just hold your horses and stop assuming things.

THIS statement is absolute rubbish, because that sale data doesn't say little Jimmy bought CoD AND Battlefield.
There is no data that says someone bought Need for Speed and Grand Turismo.

Arkham Knight was confirmed that it would not be coming to Wii U due to it not being powerful enough to run the game, so that suggests that were moving into the period when most 8th gen games (not cross gen) will not be able to run on the Wii U.
I just read that article. All they said was that Xbox 360 and PS3 couldn't handle it, so Wii U isn't getting it.
EDIT: All that means is that they aren't willing or able to develop a Wii U version.

"When asked specifically about the Wii U, Ginn indicated that it would have had the same gameplay compromises as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, and so it was ruled out as well"

That quote came from IGN, not Warner Bros.
They are looking at what Xbox 360 and PS3 can do, not Wii U, and Wii U is effected by that decision.
@SCAR392 does it matter what the reason is..... whether is spec, sales or developers simply hating the Wii U the reality is that it does not have third party support, which is why most gamers cannot seriously considered the Wii U a real option for their primary console. ....

THIS is actually a reasonable response. It actually is the specs, but not the way you guys are making it out to be.
Wii U is PowerPC = answer
If you don't know what the reasons and conditions are, it's better to admit that than making up reasons.

I don't see how you can argue this.
I do, because the quote you posted was a comment from IGN, not Warner Bros. The last post already stated this.

Well, they are both baseball sims. If anything, Wii Sports Club baseball will be more accessible to people who just want to play, It's the same thing with Wii Sports Club Golf. I would say EA is competing with their Tiger Woods game. Same scenario, different game.
There's a key distinction. Games like Tiger Woods or MLB: The Show take advantage of character licenses, that's the reason people play those games. We want to put ourselves in an omnipotent role controlling our favorite players in our favorite teams.
