I own all consoles Vita 3ds Wii U and Ps4and i love them all. Im also the kind of guy who likes to do different and buy the underdogs consoles/games. Aftrr the poor Knack reviews I decided to give it a shot.
My thoughts are, Platformers are not well received on a sony system. This game is a simple but yet fun game. Graphics are clear and polish. My little daughter is in love with knack. I think he could be the new crash bandicoot of sony if people didnt bash him . This game deserves way more attention i think its a great entry and if they decided to make a sequel they could make a realy realy good game out of knack.
What if nintendo released knack on the Wii U, do you think it would have been a bigger deal ? I think so. I totally see knack on a Nintendo system
Sorry for the grammar errors im a frenchy !
Currently playing : ZombiU on Wii U / Soul Sacrifice on Vita / Mario Golf World Tour on 3DS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Mario meets Katamari Damacy, but with more lineair levels than another New Super Mario Bros. game, levels more bland than an empty box, and a cheesy plot.
No, it still wouldn't be good. It's just there to proof again that Sony is doing great with the consoles, but downright fails at developing its own games.
If Nintendo ever did make a game as poorly made and with just as bad level design as Knack, it would be bashed just as much. Look at Yoshi's New Island.

If they did make Knack, they would have to put much more effort into it than Sony did. It also doesn't help that The Wonderful 101 was released a few months before Knack, so Knack would be more of a step backward than forward.

I don't think the point was what would happen if it was made by Nintendo, don't give the game that much hope, but what better off the game would be if it were released on a Nintendo console, the Wii U I presume. Still, I think we all agree that it would end up somewhere between your latest Pixar game, and that game that either includes ''dance'' or ''sing'' in its title.
Releasing a platformer now that isn't really state-of-the-art on the Wii U would not be a good idea, competing with Mario 3D World, Tropical Freeze and Rayman Legends.
If it was on a Nintendo system, I would play it since it's the only up to date console and handheld I own, I like trying new games, and I never played it.

If it was made by Nintendo it would have been much better received, some people just love Nintendo and are biased to like anything by them.. is kinda about the legend of how the movie Anastasia got a much better reception when they showed it to test audiences with a Disney Logo
it would be a sidescroller on 3DS called Yoshi's New Island.

If Knack was a Nintendo game, I'm sure Nintendo would find a way to make it less repetitive. Especially since it's a platformer, it would have all sorts of crazy obstacles rather than just timing with quick dodge and striking over and over and over...
Now, I'm just going off the gameplay I've seen, but I can't see Knack doing better on the Wii U, since it'd be considered sub-par, next to most of Nintendo's work. Knack was a game I was excited for, when it was announced, but as I saw more, my interest waned. After watching some gameplay, I was pretty quick to give up on it and just await New Super Luigi U.
THAT SAID! I would absolutely love to see this title get a sequel. And I'd love to see it get the polish and thought this idea truly deserves. It's fun and imaginative, and with the right design team--preferably the one responsible for Jak and Daxter--it could be a truly great, absolutely unique title in the PS4's favor.
I don't see this happening, but it could work. Just look what happened to Red Steel!
