Topic: What if AVGN is in SSB4?

Who's acting snobby? AVGN is more of a cult figure, not to mention isn't exactly family friendly material. I've watched AVGN since 2007, I still think he's great, but surely you can agree he's not exactly a good fit for SSB4?

Neither is Snake, or Lucas, the main character of the most depressing game of all time. Keep in mind, family friendly doesn't always mean it's appropriate, even though it is a major part. AVGN wouldn't actually curse in the game, good God, that would be a disaster. He deserves to be in it, even though he probably won't, one, because he is basically the main representative of the YouTube gaming community, which is such a huge part of gaming these days. And his game that will be coming out this year will most likely help Nintendo achieve their goal of connecting more to the hardcore gamer and it will bring in alot of fans who would probably dismiss the Wii U as kid stuff.

Lucas isn't too poular in America outside of the general hardcore gaming community. I say we get even. Mike from Startropics was going to be put in Brawl, but they ruled against it because it wasn't released in Japan. THAT is unfair.

First I would argue that Silent Hill 2 is the most depressing game ever, and second, why on Earth does a Smash Brothers game need a representative of the Youtube gaming community as a character? Just be happy you're getting an AVGN game on the Wii U in the first place.

Apparently none of you remember Sakurai's rules regarding the roster. The character must be a video game one first and foremost (that means no Goku), so that rule alone blows the already impossibly far-fetched idea of AVGN, a real person, in SSB4 out of the water.

I don't think everyone was saying that. I certainly wasn't. I like his videos, but he wouldn't (in my opinion) fit in the game at all.

How bout no. Reggie would be a better fit anyway. Also to answer the question, Nintendo would get so much negatice raction they would him remove the day they said he would be in.

I don't know if people are joking around or what ever about not buying the game if he was included, if you wouldn't get it because he was included (even god don't know why) that rather sad, you would have the choice to use him...
