Topic: What will Nintendo do after the launch window?

Ever heard of E3 ya dinguses? E3 announces AAA titles (Here's to Metroid Prime 4 & Super Smash Bros 4) and people go "welp I have no choice but to buy a Wii U!" like what happened with the 3DS.

Nintendo have recently adopted a policy of not announcing games until they're fairly close to release.

That being said, I think the main worry should be directed toward 3rd parties. We all know that Nintendo will release a ton of great games over the Wii U's life.

@pntjr - Yeah, that's what WILL happen. It happens all the time; people proclaim Nintendo 'dead' because their new console isn't flying off the shelves. Then, they all collectively soil their pants upon seeing the new Mario/Zelda/ Smash Bros./Metroid/whatever, before Nintendo's stock quadruples and their console begins to sell like hotcakes. Repeat ad nuseam.

Slightly off topic; I was thinking the other day...what would you guys think if Nintendo adopted a radical rule for their next console - that is, no Mario. No Zelda. No Smash Bros. No Metroid. Just new (or lesser) franchises being highlighted whilst giving those aforementioned series a 'break'. It'll never actually happen, obviously...

I think that's a bit extreme but "for a year or so" without any of that would be highly appreciated, if risky to the point of being ridiculous.

One of the plot lines anyway. Another is Olimar with a Pikmin squad gathering pellets for the Onions, when a Emperor Bulblax shows up. Then Pit flies down out of nowhere and shoots the Bulblax in the face before landing. An epic battle ensues.
