I'm going to be very disappointed if the game is "stylized" (a.k.a. "watered-down") to not look as stunning as that demo. I want this to be the game that shows the Wii U's full potential in terms of power.

i just want a decent sized immersive open world. after playing WW i thought it would be cool to have land and sea maybe, not too much sea but maybe a water temple only accessible by boat, a few islands and some sunken treasure. i want towns and npcs to be packed with personality and developing relationships (similar to skyloft). also id like dynamic quests on the overworld like a merchant getting robbed or people stuck up trees(similar almost to GTAV). finally id like some majoras mask style sidequests either depending on time or not.
I want Zelda to be darker. Give it a feel like Elder Scroll. It doesn't have to be rated M but I think Zelda needs to"grow up" a little bit. An open world would be excellent. Also, I know the green get up is very iconic for Link but I think it would be nice if he was able to fine/buy/alter new armor or clothing. Also, a story that develops around a players "in-game" choices. For example, if I decide to do this side quest and I either beat or fail the side quest it will later on effect me in certain ways, be it positive or negative. If I beat the side quest it could add a positive influence on the main story line perhaps or if I lose it would mean that a different side quest would present its self later on with ties to that side quest that I lost to. I think that would be fun in Zelda.

I agree but it still has to look good, not gritty.
I am a Nintendo nerd who loves Zelda and Sonic. I also do LPs on Youtube!

And I was thinking that my suggestions were a little "out there."
This sounds like Zelda In Name Only Like, you want a sandbox action RPG whose main character happens to be Link. Why not just role a Bosmer in Skyrim and name him Link?
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

And we could also add to the game a side quest were we put down other people's opinions, I think that would be a cool side quest. Maybe I misread this title of this thread.

I don't think you get where he's getting at. All he's suggesting is a darker story (like Majora's Mask), more customization options for Link since you're supposed to be him in the game, and better sidequests. This isn't much to ask for, Zelda is kind of behind when it comes to overworld features.
I want exploration to be fun even if its not open world. I want you to be able to see areas that you go to later from far away, or find something that appears to be unimportant (for example like a river in some town) that turns out to be an entrance to a huge new area later on in the game. Also I definitely want the game to have almost no hints on what to do like the N64 games. At the very least give us an option for a harder difficulty. I think multiplayer would work really well online, offline or hopefully both. They could do Four Swords, or have link have 3 brothers or links 4 sons. Make the multiplayer completely optional, and not change the game other than making the enemies more plentiful and difficult. Also if you did play multiplayer, some extra areas in the world would be accessible with a certain number of characters only, that got you optional items or something little big planet style. If it doesn't have voice acting at least give link text.
1) A world structured like xenoblade (large open areas, divided from each other only to be unlocked as the story progresses).
2) A good combat system (an improved version of SS combat would be fine)
3) Make exploration fun like it was in a link to the past, where being curious would most likely be rewarded with a piece of the heart or a large sum of rupees.
4) make the second half of the game non linear in the sense that you can tackle any of the dungeons at any time
5) bring back the schedule system from MM where NPCs have their own daily schedules
6) use the art style for the promotional pics of ALBW, an upgraded version of the painting style they were going for in SS, or something entirely unique and original.
7) make more meaningful npcs and sidequests
8) have some optional items
9) bring back the upgrading system from SS.
10) include hero mode from the beginning.
^ I agree 100% with this(except the parts about MM and aLttP because I didn't play those yet ^^' )
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

Open World would be great, also more immerse swordplay gameplay, I don't mean motion control (though Skyward Sword's worked perfectly, and was very fun and natural.) Also a deeper story, like MM''s or Skyward Swords, heck, it could be basic on the outside, but deeper throughout the game!

Well, they've already confirmed that it won't really look like that. It technically could, but they plan on going with a "realistic cartoon" style. I think they described it as Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess combined.

It's my hope that Zelda Wii U will be both a combination of all the newest things they are currently doing with the franchise, as well as a few curve balls we wont possibly be able to guess at. Nintendo has an awesome habit of trying things out first and building on the things that work.
I think it's a pretty safe bet that, If Zelda was going to be online at all, It would be Miiverse integration a-la WindWaker or Darksouls. Notes, bottles, even hand written scribbles from friends could be cool and not too distracting.
If a Link between Worlds is any indication as to where exploration is headed, Zelda WiiU will be more of an open world than we realize. I'm sure there will still be progression, gated areas, or blowing up walls to open up new places...but taking on the game how you want is pretty much a given at this point.
And although I have little to back this last point up, basically just a hope and a prayer...I would love to see a High definition look to Zelda comparable to the E3 demo. I know this is a fools errand, especially when you look at the Zelda e3 2001 demo, and the eventual release of WindWaker. I want Nintendo to champion their console, it may not be the biggest fish in the pond...but someone...somewhere... [I'm looking at you Retro]...needs to show what this console can do. Not just unique gameplay, but engrossing visuals as well.
Sorry for the book of a post, When I get talking about Zelda my tongue likes to run ahead of my brain.
