I stopped using 3rd party stuff a long time ago...they always crap out on me shortly after buying them.

I've got one, it works, so no problems there. However the battery drains even when you're not using it, so you want to start using it as soon as it's fully charged.

I don't own this controller specifically, but I do own a third party Pro Controller. All I can say is that I don't recommend purchasing one. From what I can tell, my Pro Controller works perfectly and has no issues. However, the Wii U isn't a fan of them, and will make sure they don't work for you 80% of the time. What do I mean by this? Here's an example of a situation:

  • Turn Wii U on
  • Turn controller on
  • Controller works totally fine
  • Open Super Smash Bros.
  • Game believes that the left stick is stuck pointing left
  • Game believes that the 'B' button is being spammed.
  • Restart console
  • Repeat process
  • 20% chance that what happened before won't happen again

I hope that makes sense. If anyone can explain what is going on with my Pro Controller to myself, since I don't fully understand it myself, that would be much appreciated.
