Topic: What Do You Think Of The WiiU?

Simple question! Just Asking for opinions really. What do you think about the WiiU? Here's what I think

"I would say that Nintendo could have waited a little until they had some more games out for the WiiU, and then release it. The WiiU in my opinion is a great console, and definitely does have some great potential. I think it's just not selling so much cause it has barely any games for it. But They are starting to redeem their console by soon to be releasing seemingly amazing games such as the new smash bros and a new Zelda game as well! By then, surely more people will start to want a WiiU because of these said to be amazing new games. And if not, I still think the WiiU will slowing begin to get to a higher ranking in time, and people will actually appreciate it when it does. I would say, it's a great console. It was just released to soon to the public without barely any interest to it."

I like it.

I like the games I have on it. I like the games that I will get on it. I think it's a solid and misunderstood system. It's like the hipster game console.

A family fun, party console at its best. Games are good and getting better as we just saw E3. Backwards compatable. (Tho it's a little slower playing Wii games than the actual Wii) It's next gen so you don't really miss anything. Only if you have no money. It's an amazing console and I have yet to own one.

It's a really cool console that will win the exclusive count almost by default but only recently has it felt like Nintendo has understood anything about it or where it sits in the current gaming landscape.

It has some good software on it but needs a F-Zero game.

It's good, but a very bad day one purchase. It'll be over two years old before Nintendo gets one real worthwhile exclusive on the system (SSB), and even that's in the 3DS. If were lucky we'll get a second exclusive and first non-3DS game in the form of Zelda before 3 years. IMHO.

Love it. First party games are simply amazing and best in like... 15 years or so.

Love it! Haven't had this much fun with video games for 20 years. Granted, maybe that's part of the reason why I love it so much. A lot of this stuff might be recycled to those who follow it, but to me it's pretty brand new and I think it looks very sharp, very playable. The gamepad is underated as a controller and also a couch companion to surf, watch netflix. I've got about 400 hours playing games and 200 hours surfing for a system I've owned since April 2013. That's not including the time my son and brother have put on the system, so I think it has been a great investment.

want it, but my wallet won't cooperate to have enough money for one even though it's the cheapest home console this gen.....

Wii U is a pretty cool guy. eh makes the Zelda and doesn't afraid of anything.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Good system all around. Probably the best hardware Nintendo has put out in years. Could use more games, but I'm still not quite done with all the ones I got.

EDIT: Actually, I'd say the same thing about the Vita. Good machine, could use more games, but what its got is good.

Good system, has some shortcomings, mainly with its online things. The game library is starting to pick up. Internet browser is great. Off-TV play is convenient. Easily the best local multiplayer machine out there right now, unless if Halo LAN parties are something you do regularly. The gamepad still needs to prove its worth outside of multiplayer, at least in my opinion. Rayman Legends and Nintendoland are incredible local multiplayer games, but there isn't anything single-player that's justified the gamepad. Hopefully that will change.

If you wanna know what I think of the literal name, I think it's one of the dumbest names since the original "Wii". Maybe my tune would be different if they marketed it at all. If Microsoft can get away with calling their console Xbox One, Nintendo should be fine with the Wii U. But I digress.

I think it's an amazing gaming console. The gamepad is severely underrated and seriously hope Nintendo's next console allows it to migrate over for future Off-TV play. It's alot faster than it was at launch and Nintendo seems to be adjusting to HD very well so far. However, it still needs improvements. The games are fine and all, but the social features of the console need a ton of work. Miiverse is perfect. It can only go up from here, but the console needs some sort of notification system for when your friends are online (the home button flashing a few times doesn't really cut it), and a faster, simpler messaging system that doesn't require you to open up miiverse and stop the game to do it. Also some sort of notification when you receive a message. And game invites. Not sure why those aren't a thing for NIntendo yet, especially with super popular games like Mario Kart no doubt that would make great use of it.

Other than that, Nintendo could stop selling Wii U games tomorrow and I'd still feel like my purchase was justified. Can't wait to see what they do with it in the coming years
