Topic: What do you like/dislike the most about the Wii U

Instead of making a topic everytime there is something someone likes or dislikes about the Wii U i thought there would be a bether idea to just make one topic for it. (Might be another topic like this though, not sure.)

Honestly don't have a major problem with the Wii U. At least yet.

I dislike the fact that inserting a slice of bread into the disc slot does not give me back any toast. It gives me a redundant brick of a console.

I know they might do it at a later point, but I wish they would have enabled Wii VC to be playable off of the gamepad and added to the eshop.

Are you putting the bread in the right way?

I hate that you can't turn off the gamepad when playing games with the Wii remote. I know you can turn the screen off but it still drains the battery. I know you can just leave it on the charger but that's not a good option either. For example, when playing Skylanders Giants with the Wii remote I see this stupid message "Player 2 press A to join" flashing constantly on the screen during the game. It does that because the Wii U sees the Gamepad and Wii remote. If I take my gamepad to the other end of the house (so it's out of range) and go back and turn on my Wii U it doesn't turn on the gamepad and things are then fine but it's stupid that you have to do it that way.

I would just take out the battery for awhile but has anyone tried to do that? I have like 20 small screwdrivers and none of them fit the screws right...

I agree. but hopefully as more games come out that actually require the gamepad screen all of the time, this will become less of an issue.

And what do I love about the wii u? Bring the Wara Wara plaza down to the gamepad, then repeatedly press ZL or ZR and watch all of the wii's scramble! Hours of fun.

What I dislike the most: The LED light that tells me a disc is in the system. It's too bright.

I Agree too. I'm hoping there will be a system update, so that when you turn the console on with a remote or pro, the gamepad stays off...

I dislike the fact that I CANT PLAY IT YET AS IT IS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT.

Just curious, but why don't you like the HD? Would you rather it go back to 480i or 480p if you have component which is still a huge difference from HD

Dislike that they're not out yet and I'm stuck with Nintendo Land and Little Inferno until then, lol.

I don't have a Wii U yet, but I highly dislike that I can't use my GC controller on it. How am I supposed to play my Wii VC games without my GC controller? I don't have a classic controller...

Games should look like games, not real life.... I wish there was ONE type of graphix for all games (no not in the sense of NSMB same) like just stick to one component of graphics
