Europe/Australia get pikmin 3 before the usa awesome hahaha! and I can't wait for new super luigi u what did you like and what did you want to see I personally wish they showed more of Zelda windwaker hd remake or a 3d Mario but they're probably saving the big guns for e3 glad to know pikmin 3's release date though!

Two words spring to mind for me "very disappointing" just none of the games I wanted to hear about were mentioned, Mario U (3D), Mario Kart U, Bayonetta 2, Yarn Yoshi etc.
Also still not a single thing said about GameCube games coming to VC.
Finally while the 3DS is getting a brand new Mario Golf, the Wii U gets a crappy Winter Sports game, very poor.

No need to be sorry it's your opinion I don't mind I was only really happy about pikmin 3 because I had no release date yet I preordered it last month and new super luigi u not because it was that exciting but it's better then nothing because june is going to be a very dry month for games on the wii u just like this month and last month has been I was most excited about the sega and Nintendo partnership because of the possibilities I wanna think more then just a sonic partnership hopefully sega brings Nintendo there other great titles!

That's what happens when you get your expectations too high. Again, they're saving all the big juicy stuff for E3, which is why this particular Direct was rather lackluster.
As for me, I got tons of Pikmin 3 eye candy to oogle at, so I'm satisfied. Sucks that we Americans get it last though.

Well this direct was just a confirmation of release dates for the summer games which I expected. They will leave the big Wii-U announcements for Nintendo Direct nearer to E3.
I'm definitely buying the boxed edition of Luigi U. Looks awesome.

Yeah it's only 8 days later but that's a lot! when you think about it because pikmin 3 is the only real new game that's coming out and it's still 2 month away! but USA normally get games first so it was just nice that for once Australia and Europe got it before them not that it matters to much but as I said it kind of does an extra 8 days feels like an extra month when you anticipate this game so much and no new games are being released but pikmin 3!

Yeah it does look pretty cool I think I'll just get the downloadable content I mean I already have new super Mario bros u and you have to wait an extra month for a hard copy and I'm a very impatient person.
Yakuza 1 & 2 HD will bundle the first two games in the open-world crime series for Wii U, it was just announced on the Japanese stream of today's Nintendo Direct press conference.
A trailer for the game shown on the stream showcased some of the upscaled graphics players can expect from the bundle, as well as some of the Wii U-exclusive elements for the platform. Players will be able to monitor their character's status, and navigate through the game's complex streets using a map on the Wii U GamePad.

To be fair, maybe I was slightly harsh, I will agree with you that the SEGA partnership is interesting and certainly has "potential"
But, other than that, the Luigi game is just "OK" nothing more, and for me that was about it, I was probably expecting to much hence why I found it all a bit MEH!
Would have at least liked them to announce GameCube for the VC, that would have been something, but still no news in that area at all which I find very frustrating.
Did anybody seriously expect more from this Nintendo Direct? It was supposed to show off upcoming games for spring and summer. Of course they didn't pull out any big surprises here. The goodies are coming up in the Nintendo Direct that's close to E3.
