That's a pretty good idea. I think Mario red should be included in that list as well, along with something eye-popping, like highlighter yellow-green or neon orange... mmm, hurts my eyes just thinkin about it. Delicious.

I would go for a red one if one was made on launch day (since I'm gonna buy it on that day.)

My PC has a red front panel, which looks awesome, so I'd love a Wii U in the same shade. It's unlikely that'll happen though; so I'm guessing black and white at launch. Or just white.

In fact, they may release just the black console and do all the logos and game packaging to suit, thereby creatinga clear visual distinction between it and the original Wii

Really though, I'd Get the White Wii U and that's that. The black Wii U Gamepad on the other hand looked pretty nasty during the video footage. White all the way!

@WaveBoy I agree, the black looks pretty lame compared to the white. Its too glossy, it just looks bad.

Edit : I wish the Wii U controller had colors similar to the NES controller, since they are both called GamePad's.

I'm sure Wii U GamePad skins will be available online a little after the console is released, and definitly with the NES retro scheme like there was with the Wii. And I don't get why Nintendo released a photo of the Wii U Classic Controller Pro in 'Black'(The design itself is so not nintendo, i just can't believe they'd go and release something like this...At least the classic controller Pro had it's own distinct style even though the structure/button placement was simular to the dual shock controller. This on the other hand seems like a cop out. Hell, i think Microsoft should call Nintendo out on this one. )

Plus t he Wii U logo on it looks totaly out of place, it's almost like somebody stamped it on a 360 controller.

I want my Wii U in Midnight Purple. Like the Power Glove; I love the color, it' so bad.

I want a zelda gold version one, and a clear - see thru one.
