I would want it to follow the formula set by Assault with the on-rail arwing levels and the ground combat. I would it also not to use the terrible choose your own story system in SF: Command. That was a complete disaster and prime example of how not to do it If the wanted to implement a new choice system I'd be game, but the one in Command has to be scrapped.
making Star Fox uncharted like sounds like a parody instead of a real game
No...
Anyway, Star Fox, action-adventure like The Last Of Us as well. Could be a very solid third-person shooter with space shooting elements, and I hope the graphics are amazing for the Wii U.
I think they want it to be a fairly open game. Big areas, multiplayer, environmental changes, etc. On-rails and all-range mode are bound to be in the game, too. If they just improved the way Assault was on every level and added stuff to that, it would no doubt be pretty good, IMO.
I liked Assault quite a bit. My favorite Starfox games are actually Adventures and Assault. Those just seemed to make the Starfox world alot more interesting, even though Adventures wasn't really Starfox to begin with. Starfox and Starfox 64 are pretty cool, too, but I think Nintendo's new hardware has always made te games better just by default, along with some different ideas, of course.

Don't give it to any 3rd party studio! I'm looking at you Namco. -_-
What? Gotta love the needless hate. Namco did a superb job with the space missions; Nintendo just has set clear limits as to what they can do with the IP and it'll be fine.

The space missions was decent at best compare to the SNES and N64 of Star Fox. Plus, there was no secret warps, the lame single path (what happen to the multiple routes?) and as I mention before the horrible on foot levels.

I actually enjoyed all of it, honestly. The Space Levels, were fantastically done, IMO, especially the non-linear ones. Granted, I used to be a big Ace Combat fan and their work with that series was quite prevelent here, but still I thought they were pretty well done and memorable. As for the On-Foot levels, I'm convinced the only reason people dislike those are the default controls, and once you switch it to Twin-Stick, all of those problems I've heard people talk about just go away. I've played through the game at least 3 times, and have had very little to complain about when it comes to those on-foot levels.
Really, I just hope the next Star Fox just continues the idea of Variety that Assault had while also having a decent story and more replayablility.
What the series needs now is a new canon, like what they did with SNES to 64, that way adventures can finally be "sent to that lovely farm upstate" like the crippled diseased anthropomorphic animal it is.

If you guys liked it, then that's fine. But to me Assault is the worst.
You know what I want? Star Fox X Metriod for Wii U. Let's make it happen, Nintendo. Lets make it happen. All they gotta do is show a gorgeous screenshot of Samus and Fox standing in front of an exploding planet. That will generate so much freaking hype in just a matter of seconds. I hope with all my heart that there is either a Metriod U game at next year's E3 or a Star Fox U game at next year's E3.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Eh? Were now discussing about crossovers? Hope your right and F-Zero as well.
@ShadowFox254 Speaking of F-Zero... If I was Nintendo, I would make a F-Zero game for 3DS just to see how people would react to it and if it could generate good cash. If it was successful, I would quickly announce a F-Zero Wii U game in a Nintendo Direct.

@Blastoise-san would it be easier to put a HD or 3D port of one of the older F-zero games..because WWHD was only 6 months..so it would be short and easy
