Preorder a whole bunch of them and sell all but one of them on ebay for double the price. I'll have a free console with a bunch of games with some money left over.

Stagnation from every major console developer. That's how.
Well seeing how Nintendo has basically been left alone to support the Wii U I understand why games may not be release as often on Wii U. I cannot speak for the other consoles as I don't own them or follow their news often. I don't think this generation has been horrible. I already own more games than I can play and there are more games on the way.

Depends what it has got on it. If they have something I want like I wanted Mario 64 I will get one immediately. (I imported the USA N64 as soon as I possibly could). I got the Dreamcast in the first few weeks as well but I didn't import it.
I will get it if I want it enough (Or if I might as well - like I did just recently with the Wii U).

This. The only way there isn't enough games is if you play a game for 5 minutes then move on to another one.
