Okay so E3 is basically over now ,and Nintendo announced a lot of exciting stuff. I was actually more interested in Nintendo's line up than anything Microsoft/Sony had as Nintendo was able to have a good mix of adult content as well as content for anyone. Although here comes the point of my post here.

After everything we seen from Nintendo this year it still never answered the question of what some of their major 2nd party devs are doing. What is Retro, Next Level Games, and Monster Games doing? Did i miss something ,and one of those devs are working on one of the recently announced titles? Otherwise we heard nothing about what these guys are doing. Even as far as i understand the Tokyo EAD team (Mario Galaxy Team) was silent.

Another thing is I know these guys aren't affiliated with Nintendo ,but what the hell is High Voltage doing? I'd like to see the Grinder get a Wii U release ,or Conduit HD (especially since the WFC is down now)

Current Switch Games: Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda BoTW, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2, Resident Evil Revelations Collection, Doom, Skyrim, Rogue Trooper, Volgarr the Viking, Blaster Master Zero, Elliot Quest, and Rive

I guess Nintendo knew the hype would be to powerful if they announced what they were all up to.

Well the Tokyo EAD team been making 3D World, NES Remix and the Captain Toad game. The bigger question from EAD would be what the Animal Crossing/Wii Sports and Mario Kart/Nintendogs teams are doing now. And of those two why the Animal Crossing/Wii Sports team has been fairly quickly.

edit: I meant quiet not quickly

They need sufficient announcements throughout the year, and announcing everything would be way too much. Besides, Retro only just stopped making DK Tropical Freeze a few months ago. They probably wont have anything major for another year, because of that.

I imagine that Animal Crossing Wii U will be coming next E3 or sooner. I hope anyway...

Yeah, I can see announcements from Monster and Next Level being a quiet Nintendo Direct launch. Most of their games, especially the memorable ones, haven't been that big that they can only be shown at E3. Retro I think is definitely working on something but maybe they thought they'd save it for next year. Whatever they were working on if it was big it wasn't going to be ready this year.

And EAD... well all the questions were answered except what the Animal Crossing team is doing. Pretty safe to assume they're probably doing Animal Crossing on Wii U. So between that and what Retro are doing there are two expected announcements for next year.
