Far Cry on Wii U. Imagine it. You have all your ammo, type of gun, map, and health on the gamepad screen, and the tv is completely free of HUDs! Like Far Cry 2 almost was. That's one big thing I didn't like about Far Cry 3 was how much stuff was on the screen. It was distracting!

If you can do this while also using the Wiimote to play the game, it would be amazing.

Why not just use the traditional controls that the gamepad has?

Because I want the controls to be better

How would the controls be better with a wii remote?

Waiting for: BOTW 2, Metroid Prime 4, Xenoblade Chronicles 3

It's mainly a preference thing. Some people genuinely like the Wii remote control scheme for alot of games, so it's better in that respect, especially as an option.

Pikmin 3, COD, Sonic, Tekken, just to name a few. have traditional controls AND a Wii remote scheme. Wii remote is alot more standard since the Wii came out, because it was developed during that gen.

No one should ever deny another control scheme as an option. That's where things are at, pretty much. The Wii remote+ is still considered a relevant control scheme, so it makes sense to have it as an option.

Bioshock Infinite could probably be ported pretty easily to work with the Wii remote since it was compatible with Move on the PS3, GamePad aside.

I never played them but MySims seemed like a clever way to give Wii owners a casual-like game that wasn't lazy or awful, which I appreciate. This is from around that time when EA actually was trying to be a good, creative video game company, with the original Mirror's Edge and Dead Space etc. Oh, if only those days had never ended.

Oh I wasn't even thinking about the pointer! I was thinking from a point of, "It's not dual stick." Then I remembered Metroid Prime Trilogy! Stupid me.

Or RE4: Wii Edition. I think alot of games could benefit from a Wii remote control option. The Wii remote functions have no doubt improved since the Wii first came out, too, mainly because of motion+. Not that many games have even used motion+, and it could run laps around the regular remote if devs utilized it to max.

Stuff like Goldeneye Wii is proof to me that any console FPS is made 25% better with pointer controls.

Honestly, if I was basing this purely on personal preference, I'd go with Battlefield 4. It's the main game I'd only consider getting on a console where I don't have to pay to play online and with something extra that would make it more fun for me...like pointer controls. That would make my interest in it go from "meh" to honestly excited.

Well KKslider, for one thing Deepsilver won't be happening... Didn't they publicly slate the Wii U? Maybe I'm misremembering it.
I agree with Suda51, wasn't the No more Heroes games there most successful products? I was upset that their new game wasn't released on Wii U until I saw the reviews.
2K to me are probably the biggest absentee on the Wii U atm. I really really hope we can see Bioshock come our way in the future as the 1st one was great.
Agree with many of these, The World Ends Wii U... The name should be enough to ensure that if this was created we would see it. (surely it would be a 3ds game though).
Personally I really hope that the future of the Mass Effect series is on the Wii U since the continuity doesn't matter anymore.
Also regarding Capcom (and Platinum) Someone please keep Okami alive and bring it to me! Aside from the vocalisations the original was perfect.
