It means that by then, I won't have to worry about running into bugs, general confusion about that to do, or other such problems since everyone else before would have figured them out! So waiting does have it's perks I suppose.

Pikmin fact of the week: The Pearly Clamclamps in Pikmin 1 can still attack and eat Pikmin even after being defeated. They are the only creatures in the game able to do so.

Well I mean some people have been having trouble with the whole updating thing (although it was their own fault) and generally just getting the hang of using the system and learning how everything works. By the time I get one, I won't be confused at all since everyone who has already gotten one will know the ropes.

If I wasn't dirt broke, I would've pre-ordered 4-5 and tried to make a profit like all those people on Amazon during the Wii launch.

Even if the difference is meager this time around, why must I be broke?

Trust me if I could I certainly WOULD. But there's this thing called money that I'm lacking presently. :(

Not necessarily.

Yeah, I have to wait a month, too. Also, the longer you wait the more games will be available!

No problems here. Mines frozen 3 times, mainly because it's still trying to "grow into it's clothes". I'm not that much of a complainer, so even it freezing sometimes doesn't bug me that much. I've had way more freezes with Xbox and PS, in a 2 day period, and apparently they can't make any update to fix it, even in 5-7 years. I'd say it's a good idea to buy Wii U over anything rght now. I've had alot of gadgets over the years, and Wii U is #1 in my book, especially since it has ALOT of potential.

There are games for Wii U, you know.
3DS XL is better than 3DS, IMO.
I'm all hooked up and ready to go.

Being a launch owner is so much fun though! I haven't had any problems yet. The "newness" of a console only lasts for a short period of time and it is fun to experience it as this is the first console I have had at launch. .

Not necessarily as in having problems or waiting has it's perks? Or possibly both I guess...

I'm hoping by the NZ release in ten days, there will at least be an update to fix the apparent ridiculously long menu load times.

I would say this too, but mine should get to my house in less than 19 hours, so I can wait. ;)
