So what does everyone think of the small amount of footage they showed of watchdogs on the e3 Nintendo direct.
I'm quite impressed but I really want to see more

I'm assuming it will be like the 360/Ps3 versions with a few things done a bit better.

It doesn't (or shouldn't) matter since as long as they use the blatantly obvious use of the tablet in a game where you basically control technology with a handheld device, it is clearly the best version (and despite being a port, one of the best ideas we've seen for the Wii U controller).

BTW: I am actually saying that the Wii U, assuming Ubisoft knows how to do the obvious with the controller, will be the definitive version. Even if you do end up getting one of the other 2 consoles at launch. I have a feeling this is a controversial statement somehow but it's obvious to me that this is true. Not even fanboy reaction, cause the gamepad use seems like it will better use of that than almost anything Nintendo's shown in some time.

also, I'm expecting an actual gameplay demonstration of that by September.

I'll be buying the PS4 version, it also has 60 minutes of extra content, you can already pre-order it off the PSN obviously for PS3 same as AC4. I'm surprised Nintendo doesn't do anything like this for the eShop, seeing as thay'll probably have Watch Dogs on the eShop.

I'm buying the PS4 version but I think the Wii U release will stack up favorably to it. When the game was demoed for PS4 on Jimmy Fallon's show it looked pretty damn crappy from a visual perspective and also just seems like a futuristic Assassin's Creed. I'm a little worried about the game now to be honest.

Well, those 60 minutes can turn in only 20 very easy...

If you want to miss out on one of the best games for Wii U specifically for what will CERTAINLY actually be an hour more of content and graphics that will be blown away by MGSV, if not its own launch titles, be my guest.

if you have played ZombiU you know that they have managed to use the GamePad in a way that is actually functional to the gameplay. It's sad to say, but I think UBI has understood the gamepad better than Nintendo itself (at least, for what I have seen). If what they have learned by making ZombiU ends up on Watchdogs, I believe we'll get a version of the game that stands head and shoulders above the competition.

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

Zombi U uses the GamePad in a fantastic way but so does Arkham City: AE for example. Using the gamepad in great ways is such a given for FPS and TPS and action games. Nintendo usually doesn't develop those kind of games which is why they didn't use it like that. It's just like with Resident Evil 4 on the Wii which used the wii remote in the best way possible in the early days.
