right so watch dogs for wii u is coming this fall and the closest thing we have is this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6k0yXUA6fc towards an actual piece of gameplay
but there is one problem
you either die a respected company or you live long enough to see yourself become ea
which is exactly the case becase
out of the last gen consoles it doesn't have free roam multiplayer BUT wii u is next gen BUT wii u is treated like it isn't so how do YOU feel on this will we get decryption and free roam? will we even get watch dogs? tell me. thanks for reading

Spec wise the Wii U is more last gen than next gen.

of course, it doesn't even match up to current gen(spec wise) how'd you expect it to be a match to consoles that will come out only in 5+ years?

Not really. Anyone that actually knows anything about hardware would know that you can still compare the Xbox One or PS4 to PCs or the OG Xbox from 2001, and that's 2 gens ago. Hell, you can even compare Wii U to GCN.

So really, we might as well say that all these consoles are 6th gen. EA considers this gen 4, so who really cares?

I can also compare an orange to a shoe but it doesn't make it similar.

I'm glad you realized that, because we're comparing computers to computers; not apples.

If it is anything like the PC version, they might as well call it Glitch_Bugs. And since it will be for Wii U they can call it Gliitch_bUgs.

At this point I don't care about it.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I would have gotten it last month, but now I don't know. If it falls into next year, I won't even consider it because next year is on fire for Wii U and 3DS. This holiday season seems to getting some good stuff, but there are a few holes they should try to plug with Watch_Dogs.

Ya, but Xbox One and PS4 aren't even anything at all like the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Eh, a few posts up you were saying they were all comparable now you're saying they aren't similar?

As an owner of Watch Dogs on the Xbox One (it's an awesome game, by the way - play it before you judge it, don't rely on the internet hate to dictate your opinion), it would be a HUGE detriment if the Wii U version doesn't have aspects of the online features. When I bought the game last week, I wasn't even interested in the online stuff in the least, but after participating in invasions, races, hacks, etc. I LOVE the feature and it adds a ton to the gameplay. It really would be a massive reason to pass up the Wii U version for any other.

i haven't played wd but people i know are saying "it's bad don't buy it" blah blah blah ect ect but the game is still something that i want
just because ign says it is good doesn't mean it's good
and vice versa but the thing im worrying about is if free roam online will be included because 360 & ps3 don't have it

Not really. Architecture yes since the Wii U uses the PowerPc architecture. In terms of power, although the Wii U has a more timid setup, but do note that the Wii U is extremely efficient due to its architecture. So power gap is not as big as you think. Not to mention the Wii U is the "greenest" console among the three as well.

Keep in mind that the Wii U has a gamepad, that alone is much more next gen than anything the PS4/X1 has to offer
The gaming experience you get from the PS4/X1 is exactly the same as the PS360 but with more pretty graphics

Wii U is closer to next NEXT gen. Then, all controllers will have touch screens and NFC.

I consider the Wii U to be halfway point between last gen and current gen. I just hope Watch Dogs is fit to the Wii U rather than just giving us a straight port from one of the other versions.

I consider Wii U to have a reason to exist other than being a PC-lite. Unlike the other two who have no interest in being anything but that.

Screwed the pooch by delaying the game Ubisoft, the hype has pretty much died.
Now I'm expecting a horrible port job like ACIII: the GamePad will be a glorified map/mirror of the TV, with zero touch control, even in menus!

I think we get Watch Dogs, but it will sell poorly due to it being released late (anyone interested with a 360, XBO, PS3, PS4, or PC bought it already) and the generally the public view of the game has been very negative. I do hope that Ubisoft has actually spent the extra time optimizing it to the Wii U architecture, but given the comments recently found in the PC code, I don't think that is likely.

So I fully expect them to do a EA (or even Ubi at this point) and present a horrible, gimped port on the Wii U for the full $59.99 price point and then point at it when it tanks as the reason they won't develop anything on the console. I've more or less given up on EA, Ubisoft, and even WB Games right now.

Good news is that I am not lacking from games to play or games I am looking forward to playing.

And when it sells poorly, Ubisoft will blame Nintendo.

@arronishere
I never said they were all comparible. I said they were all comparible to certain machines, and it matters, because it voids any sort of claim that Wii U isn't powerful enough. You can compare Xbox One to the OG Xbox, but not Xbox 360.

Saying Wii U is more last gen, than current gen, is like saying Xbox One is more 6th gen, than 7th gen, because the of architechures, unless you really want to talk about PC, which just runs through every generation gap.
