:/ I personally am pretty upset about this. I am getting it day 1 on Wii U..the holiday lineup is getting pretty week for me. 2 of the 5 games I was going to pick up are now delayed.
Good decision - I really didn't want it to get lost in the rest of the holiday titles for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and while I'm sure it would have had good momentum releasing in November, I think it can stand out better in the spring - and certainly as a more polished, much improved title.
I still think there's a very good holiday selection both sides of the Atlantic.
I'm not that upset, I wasn't probably getting it this year anyway. With Assassin's Creed IV, Rayman Legends, Wind Waker and Mario, there's plenty on my plate already. But I'm still very interested in getting the game.
quite disappointed as well, now the only holiday Wii U titles I am looking forward to are, Sonic Lost World (depending on if I like how it plays..DEMO NOW SEGA!), & Super Mario 3D World~! other than that I might try out AC4 over to a friends house and go from there, and I'm definitely picking up Link between Worlds on the 3DS so, in short, there are only 2 games I know I will get right off the bat..
but on the bright side we got a good line up going into summer 2014 =)
DK: Tropical Freeze in Feb
Mario Kart 8 sometime between March and May (before the end of Nintendo's 2013 FY)
Watch_Dog's in the spring
Bayonetta 2 between spring and summer hopefully
X in the summer most likely
Super Smash Bros hopefully in the summer
and Zelda during the autumn/early winter months if they are making good progress with it atm.
If it's a financial thing that is causing the delay that is quite sad, but it does make 2014 look a little better for the Wii U. So in a way it's a good thing. (Not to mention gives you time to play all those other games everyone is going to be getting)
I am a wild and free Ninetails not a trainer.. get over it...
I'm annoyed but thinking from their perspective I think it works. I would have probably got this, probably on PC, along with a couple of other Wii U titles for the end of the year. Then it would be crazy bargain bin prices for the other titles I didn't get.
One of those titles I would have never gotten that I might now would be ACIV. If others are thinking along the same lines I am, and I don't think I'm that unique in my tastes, then that's more sales for Ubisoft. Plus the fact that Watch Dogs is like GTA's poor cousin....
