Topic: Wanted to join club nintedno Wii U

Hello!

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I have a question. So i bought my Wii U yesterday and I wanted to register it for Club Nintendo. I know it says I have to link my E-Shop to the Club Nintendo account, but how can I link them if I dont have a club nintendo account? I can register for one on club nintendo usa , but its only for usa and canada and I leave in Portugal.
So do I need to buy any game that has a game code on it? Or there is any other way?

First, is Club Nintendo available in Portugal? If it isn't then it's no way you can link them.
I have the same problem, Club Nintendo isn't available, so I can't link up my account to any platform. Not Wii U and not 3DS

Not sure. Is there a way to check the list of avaible countries for Club Nintendo? I know the E-shop is though.

Cub Nintendo is, sadly, only available in the United States and Canada (so much for "Nintendo of America"). If you have family there you could ask them to let you use their address to join, but if Nintendo finds out, they'll block your account.

I know, I hate it too.

Club Nintendo is available in NoE. If Portugal is part of NoE — which it is — you can access Club Nintendo. Here is the link:

Oh. So I bought the basic set, and it didn't came with any code so that means I need to buy some game that comes with a code so I can register on the club?

I think you need to register a game with a code to create your Club Nintendo account. But make sure your Club Nintendo account's and your NNID's e-mail addresses are the same. Once you have your account, you'll just need your e-mail and your account's password to link your Wii U purchase to your Club Nintendo on the eShop, and instantly all the games you'll download — and have downloaded — on your Wii U will be registered on your Club Nintendo.

Club nintendos rewards are a little lacuster though. So far my options are merely mario themed notebooks

Does that work for Club Nintendo in NA as well the email thing? Cause I have not been getting any of the coins for my Wii U eShop purchases. Is there a way to change your email on your NNID?

I wouldn't really know how it works in America, but have you linked your Club Nintendo account to your Wii U through the eShop? If you go on Club Nintendo and check out the games you've registered, you should be able to see the games you bought on the eShop on there.
