Hi,

I brought WII-U from USA and moved back to India, would appreciate if someone could confirm whether this will work in India with 220 V or do I need to buy a step-down convertor ? Please let me know if the game-pad and console will work or needs convertor.

I have seen multiple different views so a bit confused and looking for guidance from experts.

@xyzanupam I'm pretty sure that the Wii U adapter itself specifies that it's a 120V adapter, but I've heard that they're actually multi voltage.

I quickly googled it, and from what I've read, people say that it is in fact multi voltage and that it should work, the labeling just doesn't specify it (at least not on the outside). The same was true with the PS3 from what I've read. So, it should work, I'm pretty certain, but if you don't want to take the risk, you can always buy a converter.

Just to be safe, I would use a converter adapter. They should sell those nearby where you live in India.
