Topic: Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3

Hi guys. I'm new here. I have joined today to try and gain support for a cause. Some people can afford multiple systems but some of us can't. So naturally I am quite upset that Capcom has chosen to ignore Wii with this game. I am a huge fan of Marvel comics and I watch these gameplay trailers in sheer envy. They are using freaking Firebrand! I can't believe this. Why does this game have all the cool Capcom characters seriously? They get Firebrand, Hsien-ko, Nemesis, Wesker, Tron Bonne... the list goes on. Obviously I cannot speak for everyone when it comes to character preferences but I personally feel Tatsunoko got poorer Capcom characters. Mike Haggar come on! Why couldn't he have been in Tatsunoko? And don't even get me started on the awesome Marvel characters.

Everytime I bring this up people keep saying Tatsunoko 2 but take a think about this very carefully. Wii U has higher development costs so what good would Tatsunoko 2 be when it would end up on PS3 and 360 anyway. They would end up with both. I choose Nintendo because I prefer their games. I can't afford everything and I want to enjoy this game. I am asking everyone interested in playing this. Please let Capcom know we want this on Nintendo? I thought Wii U because there is no doubt in my mind they wouldn't have a problem putting it on here. If Vita can get this game why can't Wii U? It would be an awesome launch title. There is no real reason this can't be on Wii U so if we make our voices heard it should work.

I can see it happening. I would love to have UMvC3 on WiiU, but that time, a new MvC3 version will be out.

Though, I might be getting UMvC3 on Vita.

A new version? I wasn't even aware of this. Is that like Arcade Edition for SFIV or something? Anyway, if your right that bodes well for it happening if they are still releasing versions next year XD

Looking on the web Capcom have plans for Wii U but aren't sharing them yet. I guess Nintendo want them to keep quiet. I hope they have UMVC3 on it. I'm sure whatever they have on Wii U they will have ports of something

Yeah I hope it releases on the Wii U too,and I already know my favorite character is Deadpool.

God No, Why release a year old title when Street FighterXTekken and TekkenXStreet Fighter come out and will be more recent.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but won't they just announce a super version? Why not hold off for that and make UMVC3 the launch title? They could turn around and do both if they want to. I personally don't care how old the game is since I haven't played it yet.

What I don't like about the WiiU, is heaps of games getting a release this year, or early next year are coming to the WiiU. It's a little silly really.

As for the games being released I'm looking forward to them. For someone like me (who doesn't have a PS3 and 360) I can enjoy these games now since they are on Wii U. I could save for a PS3 but I really like Nintendo's games most so I will hold off for Wii U. For people who already own a 360 and PS3 I can understand where you guys are coming from. All it will take is Nintendo to show off their games and it will stand out more.

Nope most Likely Namco won't allow that to happen and just make for a DLC. its Funny the Fighter genre is way more oversaturated a market than even the FPS market. Capcom its self is casuing this with this trend of making whole new games for new charcters where you could just do DLC. For example

As a fighting Game Fan this is Wonderful but as you see Capcom and And Arc works system. All the other game are full sequels or different from the main series game to warrent purchase.

Afraid the Fighter Genre is going to implode like in the 90's.

I know what you mean. I have been watching what Capcom have been doing. Thats the reason I assume they are going to do it lol. But if Namco disapprove then thats a good thing. Capcom brought the fighting market back but they could also kill it. In fact looking at your list it seems Blazblue is guilty of a similar thing XD

I'm not that surprised some are using it as a porting system. Some publishers will want to cash in on the launch hype and potential fans on that system too. Nintendo promised the launch would be better than 3DS so I hope they have something big planned. I'm glad myself because it gives me a good sign that Nintendo are getting these games as well. It may (though I don't assume that) become a case of 360/PS3/Wii U as default platforms. I would love that. I mean Soul Calibur as an example we got some shoddy spin-off with rubbish controls while PS3 and 360 got the real fighting game sequel. I felt so left out.

SSFIV Arcade Edition was just DLC, not a proper sequel or update. It doesn't count.

UMvC3 is better as a disc release since Capcom was selling DLC characters for $5 each in MvC3. And $5 x 12 characters equals...? More than you're paying for the disc release of UMvC3.

TvC: Cross Generation of Heroes is just the American release of the Japanese version. It doesn't count as a seperate release.

In japan Cross Generation and and Ultimate All Stars were both separate releases. Also Arcade was also sold in in disc form at at $50 dollar price. But I do see where your coming from form a GOTY standpoint. its just releasing new disc's at such a frequent pace is what happened last time the bubble burst.

as much as i enjoy the streetfighter games, i'd rather see new versions of darkstalkers, rival schools by capcom, rather than another capcom verses game, streetfighter verses title .or the wii U.

and as a virtual fighter fan, would love to have virtua fighter 5FS, or 6.
