Ubisoft can lie in the bed they made. That's all I have to comment on it.
Thanks.

That doesn't explain why the 360/PS3 version isn't on the Wii U.
There is no PS360 version of this game, Rogue is another matter.

Well, I don't really know what to say. I have played every AC game so far, except for Liberations and those mobile games. Imo the best in the franchise was AC2 and the series became worse with every new entry, until AC4 came out. AC4 made me like the series again. However, the moment Ubisoft announced Microtransactions in the new AC games, I lost all interest and I won't buy any of the new AC games. A Wii U version wouldn't change that at all.
However, if what he says is true, and the crowd is intelligent and gameplay changing, this could very well be problematic for the Wii U's hardware. Kind of like the Ice Climbers situation on the 3DS. You can only do that much with hardware.
(PS: Wii U probably can't handle the microtransactions )
Well after seeing the demo being played at EGX i'm not surprised its not on the WII U as the dev says it would be a down scaled port that runs like crap and lets face it we do not deserve that he is right.
However why are we not getting AC Rogue? thats what I want to know thats coming out on the PS360 so should be able to run on the WII U just fine.

I can fully understand that the WiiU can't handle ACU, even the E3 demo on XBone lagged a bit. They don't even need to apologize for that. But it's still a petty argument, since the AC 3 and 4 ports were terrible, but Ubi didn't feel like they were cheating the players there.
If ubi had been doing awesome ports up until now I would buy this hook, line and sinker....however, they didn't and I'm taking a break from AC anyway. The setting for Unity almost got me to break but not quite.

Ubisoft can't decide if they actually want to burn the bridge they keep actively trying to ignite.
Says Unity can't run on Wii U? Fine, but where's Rouge?
We're getting Watch_Dogs, but only nearly half a year after the cat's out the bag with no DLC or worthwhile Wii U features at the full original retail price.
Not to mention the real kicker: delaying a finished version of an exclusive game to work on the multiplatform versions.
