Topic: Two questions about Wii U and Wii Fit Meter

Hi everyone,
I have two questions and hope it is OK to lump them together.
1) When you do the body test, you are asked whether you want to end now. If you click "No" you are given two tests to calculate your Wii Fit Age. Now, on my old Wii (non U) system it was possible to do the tests at any time you wanted, and select the ones you wanted to do, without the body test. I can't find out how to do that on the Wii U. Is it possible ?

2) The Wii Fit meter appears to reset the calories burned, steps done etc. at midnight. I am a night owl and do a lot of exercises at night, even after midnight. I do my daily test around 5 pm so any calories burned between transferring the data at 5 pm, and midnight are lost and not calculated. Is there any way I can change the "reset to zero for the day" from midnight to, say, 7 pm?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

1) I think you can. I think if you go back into the body test it will ask if you want to do it again or just do the additional tests. I can't remember for certain though.

2) They aren't lost, the Fit Meter holds 7 days I think (maybe more, can't remember). When you sync up they are attributed to the proper day you earned them, even if you already synced some data from that day. Go back and look at yesterday's history and you will see it.

It's possible to do the body test at any time via the main menu. Just select the animated Wii Balance Board to initiate the body test.

The Wii Fit meter stores about a month's worth of calorie/step data, and about a week's worth of altitude data. As Alshain01 has said, all calories and steps will be correctly attributed to the dates in your calendar. There is also an option under Settings to set the start of the new day as 3am instead of midnight (for the purposes of resetting calorie/step/altitude measurements).

Thanks for the replies but you misunderstood me - as I wrote above I want to do some practise
>and select the ones you wanted to do, **without the body test**
However, I will see whether Ashlain01's suggestion does indeed give me the option. I don't want to repeat body tests but would like to select some of the little tests to practise.

That would make it worse. Look at this diagram to see what I mean:
5pm body test---------------------------midnight change-----------00:01 hrs--------------------------etc
=133 kcal ----------------------------------e.g. 175 kcal-------------------- 0 kcal
^^133 are transferred .............these ^^ addit. 32 Kcal are lost ...........
So 7 hours (5 pm to midnight) of calories burned are "lost"

5pm body test----------------------03:00 change----------03:01 hrs--------------------------etc
133 kcal-----------------------------------190 kcal------------------0 kcal
^^133 are transferred..........these ^^ addit. 57 Kcal are lost
So 10 hours (5 pm to 03:00) of calories burned are "lost"

So instead of it changing later, I needed it to change at an earlier time, e.g. 8 pm, so that any calories burned after 5pm (body test / Wii Fit Meter transfer) (8 pm at the latest) are counted towards the next day.
Actually I found a workaround:
I set the Wii's clock 4 hours later that what it actually is, so at 8 pm real time, it was showing 12 pm and it changed to the next day. However, I had to reset the fit meter then re-register it to get my old data back, but they are now synched to the same time.
(It sounds like the wrong way round, but it's the same logic as my saying that New York is 7 hours "behind" us, whereas my husband says they are 7 "ahead" of us, because of where the sun rises and sets...)
