Topic: tony hawk 5 wiiu?

As far as I know tony hawk 5 isn't coming to wiiu and I'm gutted about this! The pro skater games on the GameCube were amazing,loved them. Anyone think there will be any chance of the new game appearing on the wiiu?

Sadly... No. I loved Tony Hawk: Underground on GameCube. insert long rant how if 3rd parties don't try to build a install base within Wii U then they can't be surprised if no one buys their game on Nintendo future platforms which starts a vicious cycle

Hmm....😞 I don't even think its coming out for pc either so I'm done for! I've never bought any other than Nintendo consoles this will be the first time I consider it ,although I will wait for a review first and who knows it might still happen on wiiu yet! Maybe if splatoon does well and they sell more consoles.

When I heard the announcement, I was pretty excited.

Then I remembered I had a wii U and my hype died because im sure it wont be released for wii u...

I gave up on the new Tony Hawk as soon as read there will be projectiles. It sounds like it's going to be a goofy mess just like the later Tony Hawk games.

Yes I read about the projectiles thing and it didn't sound impressive but I'm sure that's only a small part of the game

I gave up on Tony Hawk and every other broken mess of a game that comes out on the other two systems. I love well polished timeless games offered on the Wii U and my 3DS

People get excited when they hear THPS, but when you realise it's being made by the same people who did the last two weak Tony Hawk games you can calm down again. This won't be as good as the first games. If they do port it to Wii U, I hope it's a late updated port a year after the PS & Xbox versions come out made by a different studio who improve on it.

Oh someone's salty there system didn't get a game. I don't know why this must be normal to Wiiu owners by now.

I might be if I didn't have a mid-range PC. 99% of anything interesting that skips Wii U has its definitive version on Steam.

Anyway, most games that skip Wii U make sense, but I was under the impression that the THPS games on N64 and Gamecube sold decently well. Oh well.

I'm ok not getting the new Tony Hawk has most have mentioned the last couple have been broken or mediocre compared to the first 4. If Nintendo uploaded via eshop a Tony hawks 1, 2, 3 or underground with a HD make cover I'd be very content and more happy than getting the new hawk.

Actually, the last two games Ride and Shred sold almost twice as well on Wii than on PS3 and 360 according to the not very reliable vgchartz figures. But the console also sold twice as good as those two. THPS did quite well on Nintendo hardware, but it also got handheld versions and THPS5 doesn't have those either. I would love a capable THPS on handhelds.

I would only care if Skate was skipping us over, but Tony Hawk is not worth losing sleep over
