Wow Nintendo... really hope you change this, bought a Wii U on day 1, please don't make me feel like a fool for doing so.

I'm a PC player but I'll always have a spot for Nintendo. I grew up as a child as a hardcore Nintendo fanboy and I still love their games. The Legend of Zelda still gives me the magic feeling I had when I was a kid. :)

GeePers

They've already announced they'll be changing this and also making Nintendo IDs available on the handheld systems in the future.

^ what GeePers said. Give them time, these things don't happen overnight.

Hope you're both right. Just seems like a Nintendo thing to do, not hating, I'm a huge Nintendo fan, just haven't had much trust with them as of late, they seem to make some really weird choices.

Give them time shouldn't be excused. This is probably the simplest concept of consumer electronics tofay and some how nintendo screws it up.

From the nintendo wii U faq

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/sys...ur_account.jsp

Can I Log Into My Nintendo Network Account on a Different Console? Answer:

-No, you cannot. A Nintendo Network Account can only be used on the console where it was created. In the future, you will be able to use your Nintendo NetworkAccount with future Nintendo consoles and other devices, such as PC's.

-Currently, the Wii U supports up to 12 individual Nintendo Network ID's per console, which enables each member of the family to have his or her own unique identity on the system.

These things don't happen overnight. I've been able to do this same feature since day one of the 360 where user accounts from the OG xbox were able to be used on the 360. Hell at this point my shared microsoft account is used over a number of devices (xbox, phone, pc, tablet, and broswer).

This as well as the eshop, miiverse, and Nintendo Network website portions should have been here day one.

WAT!

Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

then take yours back to the store and start a riot, shingi, because clearly that's the only answer to this situation.
