I never said Gears of War 3 in particular - of course I know that's not possible. I clearly meant another installment in the series.

There is a rreason why gears is xbox only.

And you expect the next gears game (after judgement) or any epic game to hit wii U when those game will be most likely running on Unreal 4 and epic has no plans to try and bring that to wii U.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if next gen with the expection of Unreal tournament 4 and a port of fortnite epic goes. Ios/Xbox/PC exclusive.

It's not like Epic Games has stated whether or not the Unreal 4 engine may see a cross-over to the Wii U. So, while we may not be able to expect anything, you definitely can't rule out the possibility either, especially seeing as it isn't even out yet. Plus, they are showing quite considerable support for the Wii U, so it's not impossible. After all, we are seeing the possibility that Crytek's CryEngine 3 may be coming to the console, so maybe others will test their top existing engines out on the console, and follow.

Besides, all this started from just an opinion on a sole possibility. Can we please not try to turn this into some hulla-balloo-esque fiasco where we're throwing arguments left and right? I never said it would happen anyway, so go chill all of your drawers in the fridge, and let's not blow this out of proportion.

Well Epic's BFF Microsoft has a contract for exclusivity for at least 3 to 4 games. I think judgement might be the end of it. But the chances are high that the contract will be renewed as well putting down another one for a new epic Microsoft only franchise. While the game may ebenfit from sales on three platforms (Gears 3 sold . Million in its first week imagine that on three consoles) per the deal Microsoft is pays for the development as well as marketing of the game as well as free patches I believe. While the series may do better ln More consoles having pretty much a blank check to do what you want must be pretty sweet.

That's and Epic's other non exclusive games did pretty poorly. (To be fair I blame that on EA and bulletstorm not having PVP as well as no extra incentive for PS3 users to buy)

I personally believe GoW won't be making it's way over to other platforms. But there's that chance, considering Epic has the rights versus Microsoft only has the publishing rights. Remember Mass Effect being exclusive to X360, even MS published it for Bioware. Basically, Microsoft only has the rights to Halo and Fable, games formerly and currently developed by Bungie and Lionhead Studios respectively.

I would hate to see Final Fantasy, the main series, back on Nintendo consoles. Final Fantasy needs the most advanced console hardware of a generation to reay work, and the FF team is now comfortable working on Sony architecture. Leave it for PS4.

Yep epic owns the GOW IP but like I said eariler its smarter to keep it exclusive.

Fixed that for you. Crystal chronicles was and is a crappy spin-off series. (looks at the crystal bearers) I know we all have our own opinions but... to me the wii u is just better off getting a final fantasy XV port.

Final Fantasy wouldn't have started so strong if it weren't for the NES and SNES games. Give them some credit. Nintendo practically deserves the main series back on their systems. Not to mention Final Fantasy isn't exactly exclusive to Playstation anymore. XIII and XIII-2 were both multiplatform.

You might want to be careful with that one. LollipopChoSaw does have an offensive in saying that Final Fantasy VII (the most overrated and well known Final Fantasy) was released on the Playstation. However, I do agree. I want Final Fantasy on Wii U as well.
