Me and my big brother were conspiracising about the newly announced games from the new Nintendo Direct as we often do when new games are announced and looking back we noticed something. You might recall new from like the 2nd day of the Wii U's launch where Miiverse was supposedly hacked and info was found that probably shouldn't have. The image below is the news I'm talking about:
This shows a list of, at the time back in November, unannounced games for Wii U.
The first saying "Super Mario WiiU" which was inevitable to happen sooner or later and was officially confirmed at the newest Nintendo Direct.
"metroid" is the next listed and hasn't been confirmed at all yet, however a new Metroid is pretty expected to happen.
"Zombie" which me and my brother guess might be a new title or possibly just the Zombie game from the Pre-E3 Nintendo Direct last year.
"Yoshi's Land Wii U" which was somewhat leaked due to Best Buy accepting pre-orders before its announcement as "Yarn Yoshi" a few days ago in Nintendo Direct.
"Flipnote Studio" is pretty self-explanitory, its probably the drawing app you may or may not remember back when the Wii U was unveiled.
"Donkey Kong" another unannounced title that is pretty likely to happen in the future due to the fact that the series has "returned" thanks to Donkey Kong Country Returns releasing.
"Wii Fit" this has already been announced
"Soul Hackers" isn't this the title to one of the Shin Megami Tensei games? So I believe this may be Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, which was announced a few days ago.
"resident evils" Resident Evil Revelations was just announced to release on PS3, XBOX 360, & Wii U
"metal gear solid" I'll get into this one soon.
"Final Fantasy 3" an unconfirmed title that I suppose could happen, I don't know that much about Final Fantasy...
and finally "Dragon Quest 10" which has already been announced for a Wii U release in Japan and has already released on Wii in Japan.
And now here is me and my brother's idea as to what "metal gear solid" could be based on something we noticed that Nintendo was doing. Nintendo is getting the publishing rights and exclusivity of Bayonetta 2 due to the fact that they funded the development when it was originally cancelled. Also, and I'm not entirely sure on this one, the new Monolith Soft game titled "X" was apparently denied by Square Enix years back and now is finally being made thanks to Nintendo owning and supporting Monolith Soft and its projects. So it seems Nintendo's newest strategy into getting exclusives is by funding cancelled games to earn the rights to make them Wii U exclusives. If this strategy me and my brother noticed is true then this is where I believe Metal Gear Solid gets connected in all this lame conspiracy of mine. My brother, who is a huge Metal Gear fan, told me that not to long ago, a game by Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear series, was cancelled very early in its development by Konami and Hideo was pretty upset about this. So if our idea of Nintendo funding cancelled games is true, maybe they did the same for this game and is now currently being developed.
Say what you want about this stupid idea of mine, but it took me a lot of courage to post this and a lot more time to type it. Just thought I'd share a conspiracy theory with all of you.
What I'm thinking is if what you're saying is true, we don't want MS or Sony to catch on.
That said... dude you really could have made that about half or even quarter of the size. And I didn't realise MGS was even cancelled?

Ater re-reading it I realize this was a bit too long with some very unnecesary info. I'll fix it later...
Also it was never announced whether or not the cancelled game was a MGS title I just sorta assumed seeing it was from Hideo Kojima.
This list could very well be real and was using tentative titles. We've already had other games on the list be announced as being in development, and it was found on Nintendo's servers (right?) so I think it's possible that this list could be real. I would love a Metal Gear game on the Wii U. I just hope it's a new game and not a remake. They already remake 1 and 3 on Nintendo systems. So what is it going to be, 2 or 4? I just hope it's new.
You have the right frame of mind, I think, about Nintendo picking up cancelled games for exclusive rights, but I can't see Konami cancelling a Metal Gear game. I mean, Hideo Kojima wanted to be done with Metal Gear years ago, but Konami keeps asking him to make more, sense that's his most profitable game.
I would be very happy if a new, exclusive Metal Gear game came out for Wii U, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I think it's more than likely that Wii U would just get another port, since that's all Nintendo systems have ever gotten from Hideo Kojima. Kojima's just too big of a playstation fan.
It sounds feasible. I'd like it to be true. It has been filed in my mind under "Possible Awesome Future Realities." Friend me on 3DS so I can partake in you and your brother's rad Nerd Conspiracy rants! I preemptively added you

Super Mario WiiU is probably New Super Mario Bros. U, which was officially released at launch
Then it would've said "New Super Mario Bros. U" and not "Super Mario Wii U," since that game already had a title. Super Mario is a different series of games than New Super Mario Bros. games.
That does interest me a lot more now... Hopefully they come out by years end

Also, I suspect Final Fantasy 3 means the NES game. Or maybe Final Fantasy VI under the US title. Either one could easily be on the Wii U's Virtual Console, making the Miiverse thing kind of foreseeing that too.
I hope it's inspired by that game, but I don't want it to ONLY be inspired by that game. Be a bit lame to just have a Donkey Kong Country 2 Returns and a Donkey Kong Country 3 Returns that only remix music from and take inspiration from specific games in the SNES trilogy. But I hope there is a new Donkey Kong Country game soon, and that K Rool is the villain in it.

It doesn't have to be purely a throwback. Returns had quite a few differences from the original, with no water levels, only one animal buddy, and the tikis being among them. This next game could bring back water levels, Kremlings, and more new things to freshen things up.
True. I just don't want any Donkey Kong Country Returns sequel to only use say, remixed music from Donkey Kong Country 2. I mean, yeah, the original Returns had some new themes, but you never got anything remixed from the second or third game. I don't want that to be the case for any sequels.
Well it's pretty easy really. This was real and it was something Nintendo made to test MiiVerse communities but that doesn't really mean much. When in testing you create placeholders just so you can get a feel of how it will work when deployed. So they put random games, some real some made up, solely for that reason. Also note that on the right hand side there's three posts repeated down the page from users named Scott, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.........

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Maybe Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Scott already have access to these games because they're rich, and are still children at heart(maybe). In any case, whatever happens, happens... I'm sure there will be games from those series in one point or another, so really trying to predict that they will come out is pointless, because we already know they will.
