Hey as some of you might know i bought a basic model because i wasn't happy with how Nintendo conducted having 2 models and 2 different prices both being ridiculous , so that out of the way ...

the joystick on both sides have both turned yellow due to excessive playing how can i resolve this to make it white again ? Lol

Yeah, don't worry about it if your console is black. We just suffer from fingerprints more, lol. One of the reasons I went black is to avoid discoloring. But it's not hard to get rid of. I'd give Nintendo a quick call and just ask them if alcohol is okay to use. I know some solutions can eat certain plastics.

yeah i tried my mothers nail polish remover on my wii remote a few years back and it melted the D pad .. lol

Yeah thats not straight rubbing alcohol. Its like an alcohol/acetone mix iirc. Just get some plain old rubbing alcohol from a drug store and you should be fine.

Thank you for the advice i will try it on my second nunchuck ( which has become yellow ) over the years first before anything happens lol

Great, I guess they decided to make the Wii U yellow extra fast to try to convince people to upgrade from Basic to Deluxe, lol.

Yes i was thinking that, they penalize the Basic owners, its like they dont even care about the basic owners, why did they choose to have one rubbish one and one good one ? .. But Nintendo land did not appeal to me and the memory issue was not a problem so thats why i bought the basic
