Yeah, I've defended Nintendo too much during the 10 "Wii U isn't getting ___" threads every week because from a sales perspective (at least short term) this is baaaad for Nintendo. To the point of hilarity. But seriously, the AAA industry is just becoming flat out a bad idea if you want to be profitable, the writing's on the wall. Even Wii U being an HD console isn't ideal (just necessary to make people care I assume). This will have a major impact on Nintendo someday but at best, I can't see the other consoles doing well for a long time.
Nintendo is smart focusing on indies (to Sony's credit, they're doing the same and with some of the "big" indie names). While I'm not annoyed at most AAA games as some people, it is probably for the best that we have an indie game revolution happening.
It will be dissappointing in like 2015 when Wii U starts missing lots of cool games though. Especially since if I do get another non-Nintendo system, it's gonna be a Ps3 or Vita.

Yeah, indies and kickstarter are the future of consoles . Anyway, I'm sure there a quite a few people like me who probably wouldn't buy a lot of Unreal Engine 4 games on a Nintendo console anyway. I thought Unreal Engine 4 was supposed to be so scalable that a smart phone could run it?

yeah I'm done ever getting video game systems unless its been out for a while, its...not good right now. I mean March has been a nice revival of relevance for the system but...
Based on what he said, they (as in Epic) won't port over UE4 to the Wii U. Doesn't mean it can't be ported at all. Their focus with the Wii U is UE3, but developers can port UE4 to the Wii U if they so desire, considering how scalable the engine is.

Those are only the retail titles we know about. Who knows what downloads are to come? Who knows what E3 will bring? Just sit down, and relax.

While I know games are coming(still no release dates,Nintendo) but the fact that almost ALL 3rd parties are ignoring this system and the fact that traditional Nintendo consoles don`t sell all that much(N64 & Gamecube) I think all Nintendo fans have every reason to worry

I'm just going to say it... if you bought a Nintendo console in the last decade expecting to play Halos and Gears and Killzones and Fables and all that shtuff, then you did NOT think things through. The games market evolved when Microsoft hit the scene with the Xbox. Sony decided to compete, and Nintendo decided to do their own thing. That was back in 2002, people- OVER A DECADE AGO. Things haven't changed much since then, and most of us have adapted and accepted how the story goes. You wanna play the newest, freaking awesome Zelda game? You need a Nintendo system. You want to play shooters that aren't on the other consoles? Microsoft. You want unique, sometimes-terrible but sometimes-spectacular RPGs that you can't get on the other systems? Sony. Every system has its trade off.
Stop living in the past and pouting like little babies. If you expected to play games that will likely run on the Unreal Engine 4 and planned on ONLY purchasing a Wii U this console cycle, you didn't do your research.
Oh, and for the guy/girl I quoted, let me fill in the blanks for you:

Pikmin 3, an expansion of a Wii game, not announced for Wii U, a port, a remake, a LEGO game and a title we know nothing about.
