This is a thread that will be updated until people stop talking about how they think about what game that is up for discussion. The gist of it, is that you give a short and sweet comment of how you think of the following Wii u game.

#1 Rayman Legends
Ubisoft's game Rayman Legends is coming to Wii u. So far as an exclusive. This game was announced to have new characters like Murfy the flying frog-like creature that you control with the Wii u gamepad. It was also announced to have NFC, exclusive to Wii u, new ways to play with your friends, and greater looking graphics, than the alredy impressive, Rayman Origins.

If it's somewhat better than Origins then I'll be somewhat impressed.

Shantae Announced For Wii u

Untitled
"Mighty" Series Creators and "Double Dragon" revivers, Wayforward announced Shantae for Wii u. For the few (if any) who don't know. Shantae is a series that started late in the Game Boy Colors lifespan, so late that it didn't manage to get the amount of sales, that ballances with it's superb gameplay. Shantae came back to DSiware, winning titles like DS game of the year, and Nintendo Life's first, and only 10/10 for DSiware. How do feel about the hair whipping belly dancer coming to the upcoming console?

Shantae is definitely welcomed on the Wii U in my opinion. The more quality games the better, and Shantae is definitely a quality game.

Wondering if it will be a brand new game, or they mean to port an existing Shantae title, or possibly do an "HD remaster/remake". Is this known?

Wayforward is the double dragon revivier? Million made the first good Double Dragon game since Super Double Dragon and Double Dragon: Neon isn't even on a Nintendo system, so I have no interest in that.

Shantae on Wii U better be an original game and not a remake. They would just be able to do so much more with the Wii U, why port a handheld game onto an HD system? That's absurd.

I'd love to see it with fluid, hand drawn graphics, but they'll probably just use cel-shading.

Untitled
Tomorrow Corporation (several people from 2D Boy, Creators of World of Goo) is working on something new for the Wii u downloadable service called Little Inferno. The story takes part in an apocalyptic world, where you burn anything to your desire. It will cost $15, like World of Goo. It is planned to come Winter 2012.

Oh boy! I can just sense the 2D Boy ora visiting the site and watching the video. I adore the oddball atmosphere and the catchy tune from the trailer. Maybe they'll make playing with fire fun again >:]

@thread What the heck? Anyway, Little Inferno is the best reason I've seen to get a Wii U so far.

I'm just wondering how the toy burning equates to the actual video game part.

They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

I might just be getting too anticipated, but this trailer seems to put on an interesting narrative. It looks to have some sort of theme concerning sacrifices (toys being burned), or maybe it's some sort of greed-related corruption. First of all, why would an adult encourage the kids to have fun by burning their toys? While the kids seemed to be having fun, the toys seemed to be suffering. Hmmm... :|

@Swiket IT DOES DON'T QUESTION IT. Anyway, it's just a teaser trailer, and it's only meant to give you a taste of the game.

Accomplishments: Nintendo Network's Achievements

We've been getting mixed messages from Nintendo when asked if there will be achievements for Wii u.
When a document for "Project CARS" (a Wii u racing simulator game) was shown to the Internet. An interesting part showed up listing a mission in the game and it's reward when accomplishing. With either Achievements (XBox) Trophies (PSN) and Accomplishments for the Nintendo Network.
Accomplishments aren't "technically" new, because in Streetpass Plaza, the missions accomplished are called accomplishments,
What do you want Nintendo to do with their accomplishment system? Are there any games in specific you would like to see an accomplishment list for? Do you think Accomplishments themselves are a great way to show competition?

I want the Accomplishments to mean something. Make them unlock stuff for you're Mii characters, hats, pants, T-shirts etc.

It would be awesome to clear an achievement in Assasins Creed 3 and get the Hood as a hat for your Mii character for everyone else to see. Would make for a lot more diversity among the Mii's as well. That would be great considering the new Miiverse service shows other people Mii's on your home screen.

Klyo wrote:

Nintendo games in general.

Klyo wrote:

Not really. To me, every Achievement/Trophy/Award system is pointless at the moment. Unless these accomplishments actually do something worthwhile I won't care for them at all.

Uh, cool I guess. I don't really care if they have Achievement type things on the Wii U.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I think Miiverse and Accomplishments can tie together well.
